The Nit de l'Albà is a newer addition to the Fallas agenda in Valencia. I've heard about it before from the celebrations in honor of the patron saint in Elche - where they shoot up to 90000 rockets into the air.
For Fallas in Valencia this unique firework display at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento is held at midnight on March 15th and in addition over 300 Fallas commissions throughout the city shoot fireworks to ring in the the main days of the festival. I would like to point out that by that time Fallas is already on it's 15th day and continues until the 19th with the most intense days at the end.
Happy Nit de l'Albà everyone.
