I relate to this song but in a good way. I used to have horrendous mood swings and feeling intense emotions was bad. I’m much more peaceful now and yes, I may not feel happiness as intensely but at least I don’t dread the awful sadness that used to follow it

i don’t know the true meaning to this song but to me it’s like you are breaking down constantly almost everyday but you’re always alone so the next day you go to work or school no one will know what you’re going through. you are the only person that knows what is happen to you and you don’t have the willpower to say anything to anyone or ask for help so you just suffer in silence forever.

this song is, to me, about the numbness of depression. I relate heavily to the lyrics. I don't cry anymore, like I've forgotten how to, and when I try to improve myself i end up feeling nothing. depression isn't always being sad, sometimes it's being stuck in a chasm of empty numbness you can't get out of.

One morning this sadness will fossilize And I will forget how to cry I'll keep going to work and you won't see a change Save perhaps a slight gray in my eye I will go jogging routinely Calmly and rhythmically run And when I find that a knife's sticking out of my side I'll pull it out without questioning why And then one warm summer night I'll hear fireworks outside And I'll listen to the memories as they cry, cry, cry I will be married to silence The gentleman won't say a word But you know, oh you know in the quiet he holds Runs a river that'll never find home And then one warm summer night I'll hear fireworks outside And I'll listen to the memories as they cry, cry, cry Oh, one warm summer night I'll hear fireworks outside And I'll listen to the memories as they cry, cry, cry Cry, cry, cry Cry, cry, cry

I'm 17 closing in to 18 , this last year I've been learning a lot of things about life and that shit is tiring. Learning about life and attempting to heal is exhausting and so tiring. Life isn't comfortable or beautiful or soft. Most people are extremely selfish and some do so to survive , altho i disagree on such ways of living but it has gotten them happiness idk. I just know that it's not easy it's hard , so hard that it makes me wanna cry like the few memories I've gathered at childhood
