Thats good to hear, for the issue youre having, what rotors are you using, and what are you using to power/spin them?

@@realFireyOblivion I am using the motor locked rotors that are shown in the first episode of helicopter basics, and use just the motors to adjust height and pitch.

@@drippydrub8049 Ah okay, I actually wouldnt suggest going too fast with those rotors because it can cause them to glitch out. This issue is said to be fixed in the new plane crazy that's supposed to come out, so Id say when that happens, then you should be able to increase your speed without many drawbacks.

6:28 We understand that the higher the speed of the tilted blade, the higher the lift force. And if one side pushes harder than the other, then in this case (5:35) the right side will go down bcz smaller lifting force, the left side will push harder, and roll heli to the right.

But the advancing side was on the right which creates a larger force than retreating which in theory rolls to the left/counterclockwise

Hi thanks so much for the tutorial but I have a question: does it work for helicopter with two blades too? Cuz I tried it on my helicopter with double blades but it rapidly gets destabilized. Even without pressing the key for the blade flapping it tends to go more to the right.

Do you mean two rotors? If so, it depends on the style of helicopter. If you have a helicopter where both rotors are ontop of each other, it should work just fine. If you have a helicopter like the american chinook where the rotors are places at 2 different ends of the helicopter, then it can help, but you may need to add more forms of stabilization to get it to fly straight

Uh, not exactly. Blade flapping allows you to use less of them to achieve stable flight, which makes your job of stabilizing a whole lot easier. The thing is that it will be different for every helicopter design, and some may have their rolling issues solved entirely, and others may only barely see an increase.

How am i supposed to fix this problem? and also the motor 2 causes my blackhawk and apache to wobble A LOT!! (even though i configured it to tourque 1000 and angle below 10). How to fix this?

@@AlameluMangaiblogger For the first question, could you restate that? Im not sure what you mean. As for the second question, it could just be your blades are spinning too fast and glitching the motor 2's to not do their job. Try lowering the rotor speed and seeing if that solves the issue.

What do you mean by disaligned? Are you using motors to pitch the blades up and down for lift? If youre using motors and they are set to lock, are you attempting to pitch the blades while they are spinning?

i really wanna build an ah-1 cobra but i just dont know what options to pick for it and am just overwhelmed by what to do first. should i do the top blades first? should i do the main cockpit and such and then do it? dont even get me started on the types of stuff. i want it to be pretty maneuverable but since im on mobile i just have to not worry and hope for the best. im gonna try it now, wish me luck edit: this is hell, keep on failing on the outline part. i REALLY underestimated this

Imo, youre thinking too hard on it. Simplify your process down into one thing at a time, if you dont like how it turns out, you can backtrack a bit (I like to save at key intervals so that I can delete a change if I dont like it). Also, I'd say start with the nose, and work your way backwards. It wont look too good if its barebones, but thats just to get an idea of what shape you want.

I'd say the biggest tip I can really give is to try something new and see if it works, as thats the best way to really learn this stuff. Other than that tho, take inspiration from irl designs, or even take inspiration from what you see others doing that works (but dont just copy their build). Places like the plane crazy official discord (named the "Plane Crazy Community"), are great places to get some inspiration from. (once again, dont copy someone's build, especially without asking).
