I also watched Bill chat/debate with Timothy Leary(comments turned off there.) - Leary is a smart guy, but he did-from all the clips, etc. I've seen did advocate the widespread use of LSD. Maybe was taken out of context by the media: What else is new. I've seen a lot of them though, & read quite a bit, where that seems to be the case, so at the current moment most likely believe he is a liar. Change my mind? ~ I will for now just confine myself within the context of just this interview. ~ He says he warns everyone to ponder well before ingesting this potentially dangerous substance. There is a small percentage of people who had very serious mental issues after ingesting even one dose of LSD. Quite possible indeed they had mental problems already, & acid was the catalyst that pushed them over the edge? ~ To close: A few famous people that I know of, who had serious mental problems after using the drug. Mike Oldfield, Chris Squire, & of course Brian Wilson. - If bother to comment, plsz don't go into a tirade against Bill Buckley. This is not about him.
