I am grateful for Worship Tutorials. I have purchased many patches and I rarely have to make any changes. They just sound great. I know they put a lot of work into creating these patches. It's definitely worth the money. It saves me a lot of time. I really appreciate y'all. Now let's worship God!

Don't be technical in playing; worshipping God is the focus. Peace.
@sk8rn8thegr8 Жыл бұрын
@@theloniouscoltrane3778 is technical playing not an expression of worship in using the gifts God has given you to worship him? If it is holding back the band or creating a distraction in a specific moment, sure, scale back on the technical playing. but there are certainly moments where technical guitar parts can create beautiful moments of worship. instrumental worship is something that I would love to see become more common in worship settings

@@theloniouscoltrane3778 Original critique. I'm sure all the worship band lead guitarists haven't heard that before.
@aaronjones3181 Жыл бұрын
@@theloniouscoltrane3778 while I can understand your opinion, I highly disagree that technical playing is inherently out of place in worship music. By that same notion, all church vocalists should refrain from singing any melodies. Let's just stick with a single tone, plainly spoken in unison by however many vocalists there are. As a musician with a short attention span and a love for highly technical music, I already have a hard time staying focused with most worship music. Sure, that's my own personal issue, but is not the point of the music to further the kingdom? How many non-believers are actually going to sit down and listen to intentionally boring music that contains lyrics they don't yet connect with? Writing worship music that sounds like modern popular music doesn't make it of the world, it makes it relevant to an audience that otherwise wouldn't give it the time of day. Keep in mind that music is one of Satan's most powerful weapons; use it against him.

@@bmitchellmusic I see the point but this way it's hard to evaluate the guitar sound in a balanced mix. It's neither an iso track, nor is it a proper mix. IMHO it would be more useful if you didn't boost the guitar level in the song but instead have sections in the song, where everything but the guitar fades out for a certain period of time and then fades back in to hear the mix again.
