I'm thinking of buying a klipsch promedia set... but I don't know if buy the classic THX promedia 2.1 ($140 usd for me) or these heritage ($250 usd ). What would it be your opinion ?

@@MyCentsTX thank you. I ordered a remote from Amazon that visually looked the same, but the labeling was for other products. I can’t find an exact replacement remote, unfortunately. Klipsh customer service won’t sell just the remote to me. I guess people that buy these systems are out of luck if the remote ever gets damaged.

Hi, your good video helped a lot. Thank you. Mine is the old version firmware. After the red LED is turned on, it does not automatically turn on even if the sound is played back. Still off after waiting 30 seconds after sound playback. Did I set something wrong? I connected to AUX.

Hmm. I'd try to re update. make sure your sub power switch is off before inserting the usb. I'm connected to the AUX as well

Does anyone know if there's been a recall or something on these? I can't find them for sale anywhere but straight for klispch. They used to be sold pretty much everywhere, I find it odd that every store would stop selling it at the same time.

its more likely that they are getting rid of old stock for a new model. For whatever its worth, I grabbed a set off of amazon, and they seem to still be in stock there.

They have them again on the Klipsch website. I just bought some walnut ones for 200 on sale. Sadly they are back up to 350, but you can buy them again.

Can I connect the speakers to an Xbox or TV without Bluetooth? I’m receiving a severe lag with Bluetooth connection.

I'm not familiar with Xbox and the connections with it, but these speakers have the RCA/AUX connection. I'm sure there is a way. There are wires to connect that to just about anything out there. Not sure what you have on your tv

Appreciate Splitter idea --- i assume a USB to 3.5mm cord would work also. Wondering how the Heritage handles dialogue i.e. vocal quality during Live Sporting events like NFL, PGA Tour, Atlanta Braves baseball. My only 30 Day Trial of computer speakers ever was last year. Tried the Peachtree M25's through Audio Advice. These speakers are double the cost of the Heritage. They were good to terrific for TV, Movies, Music ...... but listen to a Sporting event and they were flat, mono vs stereo sound, & uninspired. Hoping your going to tell Me there is Oomph ! Sparkle ! & Pizzazz ! in the Klipsch's

I think it will depend on your graphic equalization setting and maybe also your sound card, or if you don't have a sound card then just how good the onboard sound is on your motherboard. I have a Sound Blaster AE-9 and I get amazing sound no matter what the content is. I had the original ProMedia 2.1 (built in the year 2000 or 2001) that I got in mint condition from eBay in 2015, and the ProMedia Heritage 2.1 absolutely DESTROYS it. The speaker system is the only thing I changed! With movies, I have what I consider to be a true cinematic experience at my computer. In other words, I have great sound that has movie theater bass. Klipsch isn't kidding when they say you can actually feel the bass this subwoofer can deliver. It's like a high-end home theater system for my computer. With music, well it's the same thing: the sound quality is absolutely amazing. I can get concert-like sound if I want to where I can feel the bass and the drums or I can get a nice studio-like listening experience which is what I'm experiencing while I'm typing this. It's at a nice comfortable conversational volume level and the sound is EXCELLENT. So with any content, the sound is always amazing. This system makes the original ProMedia 2.1 system seem extremely wimpy in comparison. The sound from the satellites is very similar though (meaning, pretty damn good), but man oh man I had no idea what I was missing out on until I got the ProMedia Heritage 2.1. It's like I didn't even have a subwoofer before. That's the difference! I freakin' LOVE this speaker system! EDIT: Actually after thinking about it for a while, I'm remembering that the satellites have a much better sound. I think it's due to the superior Tractrix horn design. Again though, whether it's flat depends on your graphic equalizer settings. Keep it flat and you will get flat sound. Maybe a better way to say it is that it'll sound a bit on the dull side until you bring up the highs with a graphic equalizer. With the right graphic equalizer adjustments, you can easily get super crisp and extremely detailed crystal-clear sound where the 1" soft dome tweeters on the Tractrix horns shine BEAUTIFULLY, showing just what Klipsch means by "stunningly precise Klipsch acoustics". I use the same graphic equalizer setting for everything! You won't need to make any adjustments to the low end. Just adjust the subwoofer volume level (using the remote control) to where you want it while listening to or watching anything (you won't want to use the same level for everything). Speaking of adjusting the level, the knobs on the back are digital knobs. So you will never have to turn them. The subwoofer level knob is labeled "Bass" though, which seems confusing at first because the remote says "Sub", giving the impression the 'Bass' knob will do something different than the remote control. In reality, the knobs are just for convenience if for some reason you can't use the remote control or if you lose it. Anyway, so comparing the specifications of the ProMedia 2.1 to the ProMedia Heritage 2.1 can lead someone to believe I'm exaggerating to an extreme. Yeah, on paper they look like they'd have just very minor differences in sound. In reality, well, like I said: it makes the ProMedia 2.1 seem wimpy. I don't know how they did it, but it's definitely worth $350!
