I just bought 2 and installed them . Now making beeping sounds like if I need to replace battery . What would be the problem ? Do they come with a battery?

My question was for an alarm that charges its battery backup.

Ours is beeping 3 times does that mean the 9x backup battery is going bad?

When you got yours did come with a Battery ? I just installed 2 new ones now there beeping . I pulled the tab out was on side thinking that activated the battery. Just wondering maybe you knew the answer . I bought new with 10 year battery thinking would be already install in the detector. If help me out thanks . Frank

Is it still chirping? It means it is malfunctioning, get a new one
