Great audit! I would like to see a revisit to make sure that the Sgt wasn’t just giving lip service! Yes, the gate is there however yes where I’m from that only means come in when the cars are on their way out! So, signage would be very helpful if the public is NOT allowed back there! You guys always say "gathering information for a story or taking pictures of the building etc." But move you your cameras along so fast that I'm sure you go by some interesting pictures, posters, exhibits, that would be nice to linger on for a few seconds with a little narrative as to what it is. It's a common misunderstanding that the loops in the pavement is a weight sensor it is not. The loops put out a magnetic field above the area so when a car that is metal will trigger the sensor to tell the gate to open . So if you had large piece of metal say a folding chair that would work.
