At ex 4 32:11 wen we substitute B as epsilon than it will bcome A-->C from A-->BC , so again shouldnt we calculate first of C And include..?

ya what you said is correct . We need to calculate first(C) also. But there is no change is no change in result why because we calculated first(C) for the production first(CbB). Thanks for your observation.

Top down parsing -Recursive descent parsing, Predictive parsing, Preprocessing steps required for predictive parsing, LL (1) grammar. UNIT - III Bottom up parsing: Shift/Reduce parsing, Operator Precedence Parsing, LR parsers-SLR, CLR and LALR, Error recovery in LR parsing, YACC - automatic parser generator. UNIT - IV Syntax Directed Translation: Syntax directed Definitions, Construction of syntax trees Attribute Grammars- S-attributed and L-attributed grammars, Type checking. Run time storage: Storage organization, storage allocation strategies. Intermediate code generation: Intermediate code forms-Syntax tree, polish notation and three address code, implementation of three-address code, Declarations, Boolean Expressions and Control-flow statements. UNIT - V Code optimization: Introduction, The principle sources of optimization, Loop optimization, and Peephole optimization, optimization of basic blocks.
