I nearly ordered those madoka books too thinking they were artbooks, if you are still looking for a madoka art book i'd suggest the Aoki Ume Madoka Ultimate Art Works! It's recently released, but still in stock in AmiAmi at the moment :)

That Madoka book content reveal killed meeeee, I had just did the same thing by ordering all 5 volumes of the .hack//Fanbook series, thinking it would be an artbook combined with fanart, and it turns out to be a lot of interviews with the game's team, comments from fans (all in JP..lol) But I figured they make great collector's items, so I've sort of reasoned with myself that they were still good buys anyway haha

i felt you with the madoka fan book, i’m a huge fan of free! and so when i saw a fanbook at awa this year i had to buy it only to realize the only art was chibis of the characters at the corners of a few pages and it’s mostly japanese

Sorry if a bunch of people already explained this, but Sana is identified by an eggplant because eggplant is nasu in japanese, which sounds like nurse. Her character setting is a nurse who works in a sanatorium (hence Natori Sana). It's such a cute figure! Thanks for sharing it and I love your videos

Frogart is always so cute, I especially love frog pins with a more cartoonish look 'cause they are mostly just round plobs, cute,cute 💝 Ah, happend for me with the Food Wars artbook! I thought it would be one but in reality it had recipes and interview in it, I was so disappointed. The Chris bunny is really cute, I thought about getting but decided against it.

Your Binding bunnies do seem to have way more detail and better look than most of your Freeing bunnies, excluding the X-10 which is amazing. Just like you mentioned in previous a video, why can't they put that much effort into their Freeing line.

If you love background art, I have to strongly recommend Mateusz Urbanowicz’s Tokyo At Night watercolor artbook! I believe you have his Tokyo Storefronts book, the second one is a must if you love scenery art. This artist actually has worked on Makoto Shinkai films like Your Name as a background artist, so a lot of the work in your Weathering with You artbook is his!

Maybe the Chris bunny is just...Short? I mean, it kinda make sense, right? Humans have some pretty intense size variation, so it'd make sense for figures of the same scale to have some variation between them right? I always hate those cast off pegged clothes solutions. For some reason they are impossible to not get those gaps when you try and put them on. Yet I favor buying cast off figures, and I want the clothes on. It is like I enjoy tormenting myself.

I purchased the Shinobu ALTER figure as well and she is amazing!!! I purchased her throguh Mandarake because I got her for 12000 yen which ended up being $150 with DHL shipping included! Such a steal! Her box was “dented” which for American standards is nothing lol Japanese figure collectors are very picky because the box looked normal to me!

Chris is pretty, but if I had to choose between her and Caroline, Caroline would win hands down. Also, someone commented about wanting a scale figure of Maki from Jujutsu Kaisen. I'm pretty sure I saw that there are going to be Kotobukiya Artfx J figures of Maki, Toge, Panda and Nanami. I hope I'm not dreaming.

Love that Shinobu figure, I’ve bought her Pop Up Parade & Nindoroid. But I’ve gotten really addicted to Demon Slayer resin statues, I’ve just bought 5 different statues in the last month, the first one Rengoku Vs Akaza from Hero Belief Studios will be here today, I’m so excited, it’s my first ever statue. The statue was €608 & then €375 for delivery.

Someone else has mentioned Mateusz Urbanowicz in the comments but I also wanna take a moment and shout him out as one of the team members behind Makoto Shinkai movies. I'm not sure if he worked on Weathering With You but he DEFINITELY worked on Your Name. He's got his own youtube channel where he shares his personal art in his own style and I recommend you check that out if you like background/scenery art in general! And another shoutout to all the other artists that work with Makoto Shinkai whose names I sadly don't know lol. From what I've gathered from Mateusz' videos, most of the background art is actually drawn by a team and Shinkai himself only helps out here and there. He's the director after all, I'm sure directing AND drawing all the backgrounds would be too much to handle.

Hiiii! I wanted to ask how much shipping usually to Australia is with buyee compared to amiami and mandarake is it more expensive o cheaper? For example how much for a bunny or a 1/8 scale.

I think shipping only depend on shipping service and size. So regardless of if it is Buyee or Amiami, they will pay the same for the DHL shipping, which is based on the box. Now maybe buyee will compress their boxes more and be able to ship some things amiami charge more for DHL, but I would imagine it is hard to say and more random. It should be mentioned however that Buyee will ship to their proxy first, and that is also some shipping you payf or. So overall Buyee should be more expensive than Amiami.
