So, as a child, it turns out that he burned his mother's money, and now he has repaid the debt, and she can do whatever she wants with this money. But she doesn't need this money, it's more important for her son to be alive and well.

loved your reaction but I just feel irratated that you said that she doesnt like respond to him or give him attention when he literally bullied her and you expect her to trust him after all that trauma not to mention she hating herself because she is deaf and dealing with that baggage her whole life. I do apologize if im gettin too serious about an anime movie but its just a debate I guess or my point of view I guess.

Nah your Completely Fine! I definitely didn’t think of it from that point of view. My thing is is that I get he bullied her when they were kids and I know he’s trying to make amends since they got older, But I just thought there was times where you can definitely see he’s trying to care for her and she’s avoiding it all which I can DEFINITELY understand. After the part where shouko tried to end it and shoya saved her I definitely feel like she should’ve realized he’s not the same person he was when they were kids and that he’s just a person who genuinely cares for her. I can Definitely see what you mean though you do have a good point

You are absolutely right but he was making up to all of it. At times I wanted him dead but the boy redeemed himself well I thought. Kids can get really nasty sometimes,
