First Attempt At Arena Battles ~ Medieval Blacksmith

A few things to remember for fighters. This is not just for you @Grillmastah but also anyone else who's playing this game. - ALWAYS save before you fight both in the arena and in other areas of the game later, if you're fighter dies, thats it, gg theyre gone and all their equipment is gone. - Best settings for a fighter are MAX Attack, 0 Taunt. MAX Cut, 0 Pierce. MAX Parry OR Dodge, whichever you trained them in - Swords are crap in the arena. Best weapon is a fire axe made out of Gaurila ore. Next best is a frost warhammer made out of Cila Ore, and third is a frost mace made out of Cila Ore. Armor and rings matter but weapons are the most important thing. Best Armor is Tamra it costs almost 180k to max them out fully, specifically: - Tamra Sturgian Helmet - Tamra War belt - Tamra Heavy Leg Iron - Tamra Caravan Guard Bracer - Tamra Knight Shoulder Armor - By the arena is a temple, in the basement is the guy who sells rings. Best ring is the spellgaze ring. - A fighter will either Parry or Dodge, not both, so you only need to train one. I got my fighters to 50+ in attack and parry and I never had a problem winning. - Your fighter will win their freedom when they win a tournament, so make sure to unequip everything except their weapon before the last fight. Equipment is expensive and they wont need it where they're going.

If this is all true, then this game is garbage lol. Can't imagine a game being so badly designed that it basically railroads you into a single viable path with every other path being objectively worse.

@@StalwartTirith so basically all games are bad because they're designed in such a way that players will develop a meta upon optimizing a solution to a problem or set? The devs intended for players to min/max the arena. Its not you who is fighting it is an ai-auto-battler. In auto-battlers you play rock-paper-scissors until you figure out what shotguns the hardest. If the player was doing the fighting then you could try far more playstyles, but in this game's arena there is just 2 playstlyes (Don't Really Attack or Attack).

Not reading the options when you talk to the arena guy hurts my brain so much lol. Training the slave for the arena is so much easier if you read the dialogue options.

You fill your gold in that lower pit, make golden daggers w smallest everything, 2 per piece of ore. Finance your smithy shop easily doing that.

to train a gladiator go to arena, and buy the equipment for attack, parry or dodge. then assign the gladiator to each as you need.

All "workers" and "warriors" can level skills up to "100", for each: Mining. Blacksmithing, Attack, Dodge, and Parry. Nice surprise when Blacksmithing gets to 100. the arena personnel can tell you how to train the "warriors". The skill tree on the far right, will help in learning and production speed.

You set it all the way for pierce meaning he would only stab. If you have him equipped with a cutting weapon, put it on the other side of the slider to make him do cut attacks.

What you did wrong is. You made him do pierce attacks, meaning he would only stab. The cut/pierce thing the "/" indicates the line of that you want your guy to do more of.

something cool... once your "helpers" max "100" smithing, you can assign them whatever you create and save... for example.. those crazy builds customers want. the "helpers" will make them legendary and perfect. This will help you not deal with over hammering issues. also... please read the options at the arena... i'm sure it'll help you so very much.

To keep it vague, if you want to know how to train the warriors, read ALL the options the arena guy has, not just the first and last. The rings come after your first month, the game will let you know when they are available.

Support, you didnt sharpen that horse chopper XD, you gave her a bat. The bars are how you want the AI to act, your sword is full cut with negative pierce and the first fight you told him to go full pierce attacks. Reminder the message board in the city center changes whats posted

The 97% on the hammer was Rome the handle being too short from the last video. It had a negative to it's damage type. The handle needs to be at least 56 cm for that. You need to start calling your 'helpers' what they really are... Unpaid interns.

Also a little tip for the Hilts ... did you know you dont have to follow the hilts design? you can just take the wood to the lathe and create your own custom design making you weapons more personal. The "training" dummies in your backyard aren't for Arena training. They're ONLY for testing weapon damage. The ACTUAL training dummies, you purchase at the Arena, and they're installed and stay in that big open room. You can purchase 5 of each Type (Attack, Dodge, Parry), for a maximum of 15. When your warriors train, they physically go to that room and during the day you can watch. I don't know why you'd want to, after 5 seconds you've seen everything, but you can.

I wonder after making the pumble or guards if you can remelt them to a liquid. Im not sue if it'll work just a theory. For example if you have a ton of gold pumbles and guards could you remelt them to liquid to make a complete weapon? Or if you need more guards but only have a ton of pumbles could you re melt the metal and make more guards.

There is wepon that is better than other for that arena. If you want to cheese it there is a wepon that can 1 shot almost all other opponents. (at max training ofc) I will not say it, untill you asks for it, as it kinda just makes arena a joke.
