started with a stock 51, then i got v6 flyti scales on it and later a zenith blade with bushings. After that i got a 67. hated it. got v2 flyti scales for it, hated it, went latchless on it and suddenly loved it to death. AFTER that i got a 42 and OMG is it amazing. Then i got a rep and it blows the other 3 away and is cheaper than all 3 of em.

Started flipping with a Böker Magnum Balisong Trainer like a month ago. Screws got lose incredibly fast, now I finally got some loctite. Got big hopes up to get my hands on a squidtrainer at the next drop. I live in germany, otherwise I´ld be already owning a barebones or a rep, but I´ll have to wait to flip with a live blade till I spent some time somewhere balisongs aren´t illegal.

i started with a $20 bali from hampton and i only bought it because it was a "butterfly knife". Needless to say it broke 2 months later from me vigorously standard opening it for all my friends. My next knife was a bear and son, at $50 i thought this was what a good bali would be priced at, over double my original. must last atleast 10x as long.... nope. broke 3 months later, but i learn rollovers with it and it got me hooked. then i bought a benchmade because it was super expensice, felt great, and had warranty. Long story long, i still have it, bought a 42 springer after, then an 87, then a CF Rep, and now I own a KB Rep and freaking love it. Also i can do a couple more tricks.

great vlog man! but really the bm51 is the way to go if your new to flipping, or your just unsure about your new hobble. the BM51 has great material, cost is not too high, different weights can be had with ti-scales and alternate scales are popping up left and right. the brs rep is over priced imo (maybe around $50 to high..) but really its a great one to cop. My vote is the BM-51 for a first time buyer hands down!

Grails is just a fancy way of saying custom balisong. Not all custom balisongs are worth the money or offer any real benefit over production balisongs in terms of performance. However, they are collectible if taken care of. Personally, the $400-$600 range is the sweet spot. Your Alpha Beasts, Titanium Basilisks, Tach 2/3s, etc. Anything above those is just because you like the aesthetic/collecting. Even so, a Rep is all you really need to flip.
