Friday night, right before bed, I just happened to notice (on FB) there was going to be a car show the next morning called "Truck Mania" in Sacramento. I thought that sounded like fun so when I woke up in the morning I decided to try to make my way out there. I noticed my bro Bobby Gately was posting on Facebook already so I knew he was up. I sent him a message and within a few minutes he had me a spot next to their booth and invited me out. I couldn't say no! I threw on a fresh pair of underdraws, some shoes and socks and I was out the door before the sun came up. I live about 50 miles away so it took me a little bit of time to get there but that is no problem. I brought out my Caddy since not that many people have seen it since I put the system in it. You guys saw the Soulgasm truck (by Gately Audio) being built in previous video's and I have heard it a couple times before. But now it is even better than it was! They made several improvements. The double windshield is something I have never seen or heard of before this day. After breaking 6 of them, they had to do something! 12 15" Gately Audio Subs in a 6th order bandpass pushed by 6 Gately Audio 7,000 watt amps. What a great system! This is just the beginning of lots of awesome demo's including a few of my own Escalade. More coming soon, thanks for watching if you did! I was live for about an hour straight, check out that video here kzbin.infoNya7jssVM5A

Those wheels are so gorgeous. It's really hard to appreciate the sound through youtube, but the styling is 👍👍

This build is a beast and keeps getting stronger! And if this epoxied double windshield can hold up, that could be a game changer. More power coming?

That looks and sounds insane! I'd love to hear more about the double windshield trick because it looks stock and so much better than those that just put plexiglass windshields on.

@meade916- Thank you for showing the inside view, & sound of your vehicle. I like hearing when your Caddy started getting into Boost😎 Plus was a very great, short video. That SoulGasm system is 1 serious Beast❤️

Bobby is such a cool guy. And following this build on your channel 2 years ago, and then getting to see it in person at Slamology sealed the deal for me. I've been buying components for nearly a year, I can't wait to build my beats! Just need to get me one of those steak knives to do all my unboxing and document the journey. Keep it up Steve and Gately Audio!

Soulgasm is a beast, heard it in Vegas with my son. We’ve been upgrading our stereos ever since.😂

In my opinion that looks like it could be louder and more violent than JPs Neo Hoe. That thing will do hair tricks even standing 4' away. I love Bobbie's build and it makes my OCD smile with all the little touches and your amp rack still is the dopest ever!

Gately gets it with going through the trouble of actually making a sealed enclosure into a door build. Might as well go the distance with all the work involved with a drastic custom build and just commit to making a sealed enclosure.
@meade9162 ай бұрын
it is the extra mile but for those that don't, most car speakers (midrange sized) are made for IB operation and don't need an enclosure. Sealing them off is definitely nice though.
@FrankBennett-kb7xs2 ай бұрын
@@meade916 yeah I've seen some SQ guys go through the trouble of making enclosures in the doors and it really did clean up the buzzes and rattles and let them cross the midbasses lower than just IB.

40k on 12 subs is just about rated power. I mean, I have 32k on 4 subs . I would be curious to see what the actual power each sub is getting after rise
@timbowman81502 ай бұрын
😮 Those subs don't even look like they moving much
@meade9162 ай бұрын
subs in ported boxes make the MOST sound when they are moving the least. Right at tuning... Fun fact of the day for ya.

Also, the camera's frame rate can be quite deceiving when viewing vibrating (or rotating) items that sometimes resonate with the camera's frames per second, sometimes giving the illusion on the camera that there is "no motion" or "very little" motion... That, along with or combined with what Steve said above, is probably why it may appear that way in this video. You cannot always rely on any video to be 100% accurate as to what is actually happening there IRL!... The same thing goes for sound quality. Cameras just cannot EVER FULLY capture ALL of the nuances and especially the overall dynamic impact of being there in person, in the same space as the speakers or live performance... and MOST cameras don't (CAN'T) even come close to reproducing the actual live, in person event accurately! That's one reason that you have to always take ANY kind of "demo" that you see or hear in any video online, with a "grain of salt", as it's said... Because not everything is as it appears OR sounds like on camera, when compared to actually being there in person...
