Monday, August 28. Thank you, Lord. We are finished with corn. Wednesday, August 30. We are sitting, watching the rain here in East Central Georgia while Idalia pounds the Florida Gulf coast and heads our way. The rain will be good on our peanuts (as long as we don't get flooded). But high winds are just what we DON'T NEED on our cotton. Final yield on corn = 261 bu/ac. We are expecting 3 tons/ac for peanuts, IF this hurricane 🌀 doesn't make a wrong turn. Cotton is bolling up, but still too early for an accurate estimate. Pray for us. And that the majority of Idalia stays to the south of us.

Check your knives on the snapping rolls. They could be wore out or needs adjusting. I am guessing they are wore out because the amount of acres you run through the header.

Heck yea, looking good, man doesn’t it feel good to do a repair job one time instead of two or three. It’s a victory for the day, and nothing else matters, if you’re soaking wet with sweat, or have cow pies all over you, you just know that the one problem you had is now fixed and waiting on the next repair, just wondering what it’s going to be and how much down time. Great video Danial, looking forward to the next one.

Wonderful job corn looks good. Hey Daniel take you a piece of chain and bolt it to the bottom of your combine and let it drag the ground why are you or combining. It might help with the static electricity that's causing all the dust to collect on your windows. If this helps let me know. Don't forget to wire it back up before you go driving down the road. Thank you to your team and your family for all the great efforts that you do God bless you all💪🇺🇸👍🤗

For your problem with dusty windows have you tried bolting a piece of chain to the frame that is long enough to drag on the ground. May not stop all the dust problem, but in my experience it does help. it does have to be bolt securely to the frame though. I think the dust problem is due to static electricity that builds up because of all of the rotating parts. One thing to remember though is to lift the chain high enough when you are going to be traveling on pavement so that you don't cause sparks.
