(Story incase anyone gets confused)
After Aziraphale found out the Book of Prophecies, he couldn't handle the guilt of knowing that he knows where the Antichrist is. He finally caves in and told his superiors. When Heaven knows, hell knows as well. News finally arrived to Crowley and he decided to confront Aziraphale about it.
This is basically an alternative ending where Aziraphale and Crowley has an established relationship and because of Aziraphale not trusting him about the knowledge about the Antichrist, Crowley starts doubting everything in their relationship together.

A little foreshadowing. They were off in a few details, it was Crowley that told Gabriel about the switch. Though it was because he was drunk and suspicious of Jim/ Gabriel. Its the metatron not Gabriel who Azirapale left for. Though that’s probably understandable as Gabriel was more prominent and the metatron only had a cameo in season 1. People probably forgot about the metatron.

I just saw this comment and I wanna explain my 17 year old thoughts. The drunk scene was a small reference of my favorite fics, just wanted to add that in. This was originally a canon divergent scene of "What if Aziraphale ended up telling Heaven about the switch?" and how I thought it would pan out, which ended up as Crowley spiralling and rethinking his trust with Aziraphale.

Let me try a guess, I rewatched it a thousand of times, Aziraphale told to Heaven about right number, saying that he got that information from "his adversary, Crowley", so Heaven told it to Hell and they punished him, so this was the last drop for Crowley, who has his heart hurt many times over the years. Is it? But I still don't know who is Angelica, I'm accepting the headcanon with "You put their mother through", Crowley and Aziraphale actually adopt The Them and they call Crowley "mother".

Honestly, the Angelica in the first half was Dagon, it's my headcanon that Dagon knows about them for quite sometime and kept it a secret for Crowley. Dagon being an overseer overheard them over the Bentley's radio, they probably confronted Crowley at first but decided to keep it a secret and Crowley started to talk more to them as sort of a moral support.
