It's a pity nobody thought to attach a tree-bar to the side of the new double decker bus, because it's just getting all scraped along the top left-hand side of the vehicle by tree branches. I know that Stagecoach makes a point of doing so in some of their areas and most likely the Go-Ahead group. It just makes a mess of the paintwork, especially at this time of year when there's so little in the way of follage, and there's also the added danger that a branch could break the glass.

I think that you enjoy doing journeys in and around the city of York. I can't really say I blame you, a very pleasant city with lots of character and plenty of history dating back to the Roman times.

@@EurasiaTransportExplorer a lovely part of the UK. We have some friends of our family who stay in one of the villages just outside York. Plus, of course York railway station sits on the East Coast mainline about halfway between London and Edinburgh.

I'm unable to understand why Nottingham City Transport are buying Yutong when there are British electrics. Single deckers at the moment but I understand an order for 20 double deckers is in the pipeline for 2025.
