I bought an $89 Dewalt compatible one off Amzon and I don't even keep a gas chainsaw in the truck anymore, these things can cut anything you're likely to encounter on the trail, even things bigger than the bar if you're careful about pinching. If it's like mine, you tighten the chain by twisting the outer ring on the wheel that holds the chain cover on.

It seams this saw is self tensioning with a spring loaded system and the saw dust get in front of the tensioner causing chain slack. Im going to beat on this saw over the next 6 months and post a few more videos as i go. Have you gone thru a chain on yours yet ?

@@TheLandscapeGiant Mine came with two bars and chains, a 6" and an 8". I've only used the 8" so far and I've sharpened the chain once. It seems smaller than an 3/8" LP chain, I have not tried to source a replacement yet. I mostly use it for cutting up pallets for fire wood and I've run probably 8 3.0ah charges through it since I bought it in August and it's still cutting great. It's the "BITOON" brand saw if you want to check it out.
