@BrooklynAndBailey had a super busy week with their sorority’s recruitment! Since joining their sorority (Chi Omega) last year, it’s now their turn to meet all of the younger, hopeful girls who want to join as well! It looked very tiring, but I know they met a lot of sweet girls, and are excited about all of the new members!
You’ll also see me in a bunch of meetings with my Hairitage team from New York! Everyone came down to coordinate a few final details, and get the launch party event planning going! I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such an amazing team of people who help all of my Hairitage dreams become a reality! ❤️

Heyhihelloooo heya! May I ask your opinion. Please excuse my lack of knowledge. I’m a hairstylist, and in school we were 95% taught caucasian hair. I ended up doing hair for Motown the musical (when they came here to Canada) and even though it was wigs I LOVED IT. Since then I have been wanting to learn more about Afro hair and nappy hair (I’m sorry if I sound ignorant I truly don’t mean any negativity). Like cutting, styling etc. There are a few local youth groups that I would like to offer my services for grad hair or even just dances, but I want to make sure I can make them look and feel good (all the kids). What would you say is the best way to learn? Cheers and happy newish year! ❤️😘

Gracie Max I wouldn’t say our hair texture is nappy, it’s just very fine/coarse hair lol but KZbin & or go to an black owned shop, is the best way to learn about our hair texture. Braiding is a very good technique as well!

Jasani Coney Autism makes you extremely smart, and allows you to see the world differently. Most people with autism excel at math and science. However Autism causes a lot of communication difficulties and some people struggle to learn because of this. However those who are high functioning (are able to sit and listen, and talk to others, despite it being difficult at times) are generally the smartest people. His autism is quite mild, it is still existent and has caused him issues through his life, but unlike many kids he can hold a conversation, and pay attention to what people say as well as follow instructions.

My 15 year old brother has autism as well he doesn’t like getting his hair done at a barber and he’s only comfortable when my mom does it for him at home, my brother has high functioning autism so it is really hard like as a family. Like for me I’m the youngest I’m 13 and when he gets tantrums it is a very big thing to deal with and with him getting older it is a challenge, but we all love him no matter what.
