This should have been a members meeting, not a meeting of grievances sounding like gossip and slanderous attacks in the house of God, with a lot of twisting of God's word in order to not abide by it. Has anyone considered that this was all a test for the church? That the person that did this evil deed was used by Satan as Judas was? Jesus chose Judas to be one of them, and he knew what Judas would do beforehand, and yet he did nothing to stop him because it had to come to pass. With all great anointing and steadfast teaching of Holiness in there, Satan was still able to infiltrate the church because he doesn't care about your steadfastness, he does what he must to test the saints. 1 Corintings 6 indeed says the brother should not go before the unjust, but look at verse 6, it shows the unjust as the unbelievers and not just or unjust judge, the unbelievers that are not in the Body of Christ. Paul asked, why not suffer yourselves to be defrauded, nay you defraud and that to your brother. In no wise am I saying that the person that has done this evil deed should be excused, but should be dealt with even by pressing the proper charges with the courts by the church without publicly blasting it so publicly before the world. Not because the church is trying to hide what happened, but so the enemies of God would not have an occasion to blaspheme against God and the church. With the person that did this evil deed, judgement should be given indeed, but also forgiveness and pray that Jesus Christ will forgive him and give him a heart to repent.
