My grandfather was born in British India. He was a devout Muslim too and also fought in the war. He lost his hearing during the war and sustained ankle injuries that caused a lot of complications later in his life. Sadly, he was a victim of the Hungerford Massacre in 1987. May God rest his soul 💙🕊

My grandad fought in WW2 as part of the British Army in both South East Asia ans Europe, he was from Modern Day Bangladesh (Molvibazar/Sylhet). He had loads of medals and was very proud of his service. Despite this, he sadly suffered racism and died in poverty. He was a great man

Winston Churchill during WW2 caused famine in Bengal, which caused millions of death.
