I took a 10 day Med cruise on Infinity last year. I loved the ship and the trip. Ship is older and smaller than many others but she was wonderful. We had a aft balcony. I highly recommend a aft balcony. It was huge.

Love Celebrity it is our favorite line. We have been on the Equinox Southern Caribbean and the Solstice Alaska. We will be headed off on the Infinity Best of Greece in May. Looking forward to your videos. Hope you enjoy your Celebrity cruise.

Interesting to see this vlog as we are doing the exact same cruise with Infinity in March! Would love to know if it's a decent hairdryer and if you have to keep holding the switch to work, if so I will bring my own. Looking forward to the next post.

It's a great itinerary of some nice ports that Med Cruises normally miss. The ship was very nice too, in my opinion, especially given the age! Unfortunately I never used the hairdryer so I can't help you there. Never known one where you have to hold it though, is that an overheating measure, maybe?

Hope you had a great cruise. I enjoyed sailing on Celebrity Silhouette last summer. Very premium compared to any ship I’ve sailed on before. Booked for Apex at the end of the summer for a 4 nighter, couldn’t afford a longer one!

Appreciate the support and feedback! The cruise was from 2nd to 12th February 2024... a solid 16 to 20 degrees each day which was very nice following a chilly Britain recently.

Doing this same cruise next year, hope you enjoyed your first Celebrity cruise. We were on Iona last week and much prefer Celebrity to P&O due to food quality, service, and ports. Infinity is one of the ships that hasn't had a refit but is still good.

Awesome, it was a nice little itinerary! I'd agree the standards on Celebrity are higher but this is mostly reflected in the prices so pros and cons to each? An older ship but they've looked after it well and I'd happily sail again.

Looks very premium!! I think i would have flown out the afternoon before and stayed overnight in Athens.. 3am is too early 😂

It's definitely a more premium feel, but you're usually paying extra for that. A night in Athens would have been better, but thankfully, going forward two hours meant it didn't affect me too much

Which hotel did you stay in? How long was the flight? The ship looks nice. Never seen a pool cleaner before. Looks a decent cabin, but it does show it age. Good first blog of Celebrity 👍🏼

Holiday Inn, I think it was. Got as a package with Heathrow Parking. Flight was 3.5 hours maybe? Yeah old ship but was very serviceable. Appreciate it 👍

I don’t think 5 adults crammed into that space will be comfortable at all. But a family of 2 adults and 3 children might be doable. Looking forward to this cruise series.

When the ship left PIRAEUS, which terminal did it dock at - Terminal A, B, or C? And which terminal did it dock when it returned to Athens?

Both arriving and leaving Piraeus we docked at terminal B.

@@CaptureCruising Okay, thanks. Do you know if there's a shuttle bus that connects the three terminals in Piraeus? My hotel is near Terminal A, and I need a way to get to Terminal B.

I don't think so. Only shuttles were arranged from the cruise line between port and airport or city centre. I'd imagine you'd need a taxi. Quite a few used taxis.

Is it the same itinerary? I don't have any real complaints at all! Ship was clean, food was great and ports where interesting to explore. Overall a great little cruise.
