hi!! i think gpa, and extracurriculars matter a lot. so i would try raising your gpa and doing a bunch of activities you enjoy doing! whether that is a sport or volunteering or helping a nonprofit. essay wise, i would get really creative and have an overall reason. maybe that can mean how you stand out from others, what makes u special, or what you enjoy! ofc it depends on the prompt, but be honest and just be you!

If you want to dance at Upenn as a beginner are there beginner classes you can take or is it better to join clubs? From a Upenn students point of view lol :)

omg hi!! so i think dance club wise- they are really competitive ngl:( im in PennHype right now, and about 60 people tried about and only 4 freshmen got in. however, there are definitely dance workshops that clubs hold, and i recommend going to those!! they are soooo fun and you get to meet a bunch of ppl! there are no weekly dance classes sadly, but honestly i would try out for a team/club just bc you never know!!! its good experience and plus you get to dance;)
