Great to hear you had a good first day on the job Clive! I love working outdoors and growing veg, working with the insects and the elements of different years. If you like podcasts, 'Talking Heads - a gardening podcast' is great. Both professional gardeners, they don't do much of the other work you'll do but good back catalogue of episodes and Saul is just up from you in Devon so similar climate. Hope day 2 goes well tomorrow and look forward to seeing the fridge hibernation routine if you film it.
