My goal is to go next year, all we have here in the states is Ozzfest meets Knotfest and this year line up sucks! My friend and I are still debating if we should go just to see the smaller bands and leave when the mainstream bands play.

with Ozzfest being run mainly my Sharon she will make it main stream as much as she can. At least in Europe the countries are more closer together so you guys can go to any festival a lot more easier.

+Nouman fastbowler Hmm, you should really look into that! Wacken is really close to Denmark. You can find some information on the Wacken website when you search for travel. Hope that helps you out! I live in The Netherlands and I went with a bus trip that was organized especially for Wacken.

We talked about Wacken in the comment section of another video already and I can see how people enjoy it. A thing I would really like to see is a video where you talk about your fav acts from the festival and why you liked them live (+do you listen to them at home and all these things). In your other videos you filmed Exodus for example but never said a word about them after. Would really like to hear your thoughts on many things that you show on camera (which you always do really well).

Kinda hard to comment on live bands in the same video without a million jump cuts I guess. On the other hand I think it would be rather easy to shoot some sentences to an album or a band in a collection update video so the viewer gets some context to the records you are showing. Talking about it I wonder if you still have not bought anything in all that time since you did your last collection update.

I guess so! I did get new records but I've been so busy with my new study that I didn't get to record new colletion updates. Vlogs are easier to record because then I'm just doing whatever I have to do and film it. Definetly planning on doing more sit down and talking videos such as collection video's again in the future!

She didn't say that Graspop (1996) exists longer than Wacken (1990), but it's also a MEGA metal festival but Wacken is bigger. We are lucky to have so many great metal festivals in the region Belgium/Netherlands/Germany/France. Metal is still alive and kicking after so many years.

Funny discussion. :-) If you only had experience with festivals like Graspop as "a big metal festival" then I understand the saying of "it reminds me of Graspop." I would do the same. I would also compare festivals to Graspop because I've never been to a bigger festival to date. If I ever go to Wacken then Wacken is the new reference for a big festival for me.
