That’s my biggest and only real “issue” with Kenzo, how he always lashes out at the wrong people. One of his videos where he was playing elimination, there was two orochis, one was a toxic ass player who’d ditch his fights to come jump Kenzo, one was a fan who was respectful asf and a general hood player. Whenever he’d kill the nice dude he’d spam thanks while saying stuff like “yeeeeaaahh you ain’t so tough now” Damn I really typed out a whole essay

Yo headsup, light attacks have 100ms of guardbreak vulnerability. So after heavy hitstun you might get guardbroken out of a light, but not medium or light hitstun.

Wiff your lights and heavies to enter your dodge cancels faster, it's best to toss out backwards attacks, don't be afraid to spam natures wrathe mixup. You want to take advantage of your dodge recoveries and abuse them.

Issue with pirate is I wish they would make her side dodge attack a light punish like Orochi. She's pretty solid imo outside of that. Annoying but solid.

Nah, she's fine as she is with the dodge attack. Many other heroes have the same thing and they're not problematic. Pirate isn't a problem anymore. Issue is, she was so strong people will hate on her even when she's now pretty well balanced for A LONG TIME. Which hell, might mean they might nerf her even more! Which she definitely doesn't need. She's literally the new Gryphon. People won't let it go, because this community are a bunch of salty babies.

Making her dodge light attack punishable with a heavy punish doesnt change her kit but she is already a walking unblockable like Conq, won't hurt to make that change imo. Deathmatch has such low players that MMR doesn't matter, they mix low and high skill players. So considering hes'a pretty average MMR and he gets matched with low MMR players, it makes him look good. If he consistently played Dominion, his teammates would be better.

After a pistol shot your opponent can beat her wallspat unblockable heavy with a light, or dodge attack it without worry of you softfient guard breaking them. So it's not always best to go for it after a heavy.

Honestly I main pirate and after another of her nerfs I'm facing huge issues in damage. its just too low atp and she's feeding revange like crazy.. i remember last time during a fight man had like the littles amount of hp left, I throw heavy and pistol blast at him, thinking he would never make it and then boom. I don’t get the execution etiquette in this game. If you get an execution why would you expect your next opponent who is low health to just let you start the fight at such a huge advantage. If they’re high health I get letting the execution go through but otherwise it just seems like needless complaining cause you can’t get a handicap for your next fight.

She's going to become the new Gryphon and Orochi eventually, where she's nerfed into the ground because low mmr, youtubers with bad takes (kenzo) won't shut up about her, even though pre nerf Gryphon and Orochi was fine. She will be nerfed to the ground unless Ubisoft have a backbone and stand up for themselves. Where she is right now is perfect in my opinion.

Unfeintable unblockable kind of ruins the purpose of unblockable heavies. All unblockable heavies in the game are feintable. Only some bashes and zhanu unblockable light is not feintable.

There's many ways to deal with her now, on light hitstun you can dodge attack and avoid the softfeint, same from neutral. They nerfed her specifically for this option. She does low damage now compared to old pirate, you can trade with her with certain heroes. Dodge bashes or bashes work really well. You can interrupt her Unblockables excluding the dodge forward one. Rather than complaining, learn how to deal with a hero. Your mindset is exactly why pre-nerf gryphon and orochi (who were fine) got nerfed to the ground.
