Good explaination at the end there. Sometimes I just remind myself of what you said years ago, that it all gets done somehow. And I just take it one thing at a time. "What's the next best (right) thing that I can do right now?" That helps with the anxiety of being overwhelmed. You got this though! Keep going! Loved that quote you put up by the way.

I stopped getting your notifications after you moved. I see you are back in the classroom. I have learned a lot from you and shared your channel with teachers I mentored after I retired. You mentioned two things in this video that were BIG red flags: sleep deprivation and teacher bladder. YES! You are right something must be done about these 2 occupational hazards! After 10 weeks of pelvic floor physical therapy post retirement I was able to minimize the effects of 25 years of teacher bladder. I recently, accidentally read a book on cognitive decline & applied the suggestions given to break the chronic sleep deprivation I acquired over 25+ years of teaching. I thought I was blessed to be able to function in this profession with 4-5 hours of interrupted sleep per night. WRONG! Teacher, you NEED 7-8 hours of sleep a night! The section on sleep in, "The Alzheimer's Solution" by Sherzai is eye-opening. Or given the issue it would be better to say eye closing. The sleep management suggestions given in that section helped me break the my teacher sleep deprivation cycle.
