As for food try: Aambur Biryani, Nanjilnadu fish curry, Curry Dosa, Chicken Chettinad curry, Karaikudi Chettinad, Erode Konguadu, Thalapakatti biryani, Manga Pachadi, Pallipalayam Chicken Fry, Sambar and dosa (they have their own version of Sambar).
