And a meltdown! The first week really does take some adjusting, but overall she had a good day and I think she's going to have a great year. I decided to show a snippet of the realness of the tough transition going from summer to a new grade... because we went through this last year. The first few weeks it is a bit of emotions and tiredness adjusting to the new grade - but after a few weeks adjusting to the new space, everything usually starts going very smoothly!

I love how much Bella loves to read. I used to be like that when I was young too. I still love to read, but now I just don't have time to read with everything else that I have to do as an adult. LOL! Awww, Bella's sad face talking about the bee. I'm sure she was just exhausted and her body was just not used to the swing of things. But it was so sad.

Yes, the same thing ended up happening to Natalie when I picked her up too! She just melted down! 1st day meltdowns I've started calling them! They just are trying so hard to listen and do well at school that they just melt down once I pick them up, lol!! Thanks for watching!! ♥

Oh little angel Isabella brought me to tears with her bee story! 😢 Must be something about the first day of school because for two years my daughter got attacked by ants on the first day of school! Ugh! Glad you all had a great day! 💖

I am a little jealous of how much time you have in the morning. In South Carolina were we live the Elementary school kids start the earliest, so they start school at 730. I actually don't mind because my middle schooler can hang out at home and finish getting ready while I walk little brother to school.

I live in Illinois and I know you used to live here so you will understand when I say the bees ruin my fall season !!everytime we go outside they bother and chase us and won't go away !!! Every day at my daughters school at least one person but up to five is stung by a bee...ahhhhhh!!

My daughter hates bees! She won't even go outside and play in the backyard anymore and when she does if she sees one bee that's it for her! She was stung 6 times when she was 2. My grandmother and her stepped on wasp nest in the grass in the backyard. I blame that incident even though I know she doesn't remember it all that much.

Awwwww, the girls are precious. I'm way behind Di. My daddy is in the hospital, LONG story short, they think he had a heart attack. He's had 2 before,1 massive. He's been really dizzy and falling. (he has other medical problems) He's 8o,he'll be 81 in December. I lost my mama 6months and 5days after losing our step dad to Liver Cancer. I just can't handle losing my daddy. 😢 Anyhoo,back to the video. I love the headbands the girls wore. Kids grow up too fast huh? hugs for the girls xo

Awwww poor Isabella 😢😢 I know how she feels because I'm scared of bees too and Everytime it gets close to me I feel like screaming and I shake because I'm worried that it might sting me, luckily I haven't gotten stung yet and don't plan too ever!!!, But I'm glad that she didn't get stung and that she had a great first day!!🙂 #scaredofbugs😬

Hi di we have tried looking for the tsum tsum calanders here in the uk and found them online at toys r us ? And Amazon have them apparently ? We can't get them here sadly x

Amazon has them but it's like double the price, if you can order off of TRU, that's a good option! :) I'm not sure if you have TRU in the UK or not.

That's so great that Natalie plays so well independently :-) that's a blessing! And no matter how many kids you have, take one away and the noise level and drama drops dramatically ( I have four kids ) but I am sure if you had nine kids and one was away you would still notice the change lol. The bees that are so aggressive right now are mostly yellow jackets, they are drawn to sugar and can sting repeatedly - ugh they will be gone soon ! Don't confuse them with wonderful ( cuddly by comparison) honey bees :-) thx for the video

Nope, Bella's hair has always been the same dark brown color. (Same as my husband.) Natalie's hair is actually doing what my hair did... I had blonde hair when I was little and it turned brown by the time I was 5 or so. I don't think Natalie's will end up being as dark as mine turned, but it has darkened a bit over time. :)

They have rolling start times here between 8am-9am for the grade schools. The middle schools and high schools do start earlier though! So it won't last forever, lol!! :)
