i’m graduating this year with my 2nd degree and i’ve been both a commuter student and live on student and my biggest tip for either is to explore campus before the 1st day and find every classroom, it takes the guessing work out of it and you’ll feel more relaxed and comfortable on the 1st day

Fun fact professors don’t really care if you’re in class or not. Like the big classes, professors are like not paying attention. I used to sit in lecture halls for hours doing work or whatever while classes were going on and literally no one asked me why i was there. Sat in on some cool classes too.

@@queenleprechaun1443 yeah. We did it for years post graduation. With COVID now, it’s probably more difficult. But when classes were 500+ students, there was no way a professor could tell if we were in the class or not and they honestly wouldn’t care either way. And yeah! We sat through some pretty cool classes

I went to engineering university so you need to be in person, unless you want to feel lost. Always good to err on the side of challenging yourself.
