Those steering boxes love to over correct. Before we put integrated valves in we would run the diff lock once lined up. Helps keep it from walking around. Tap the brake on the end to cancel the diff, make your turn, set the steer, diff lock again.

Here is a tip for soybeans. Get a harrow or a land roller to flatten the ground or to take out the little humps from behind the planter and for picking up rocks that can cause damage or get picked up in your header. For the rocks you should pick up is softball size and bigger.

You should usually deep rip beans in the fall before it freezes and then field cultivate(fc) in the spring. Rip at an angle one way then (fc)in the opposite direction but at the same angle. Also you can’t do anything to stop corn plug ups, sometimes even in beans you’ll get them but not as bad or often

On low land you'll find it's just that but wetter. My father goes crazy for drainage. One of the things he's started doing is finding "springs" where ground water rises to nearer the surface. You wouldn't believe how much water and how wet the ground gets because of springs. Problem is finding them, my brother is pretty good at "divining", I know it sounds crazy but if you take 2 pieces of high tensile electric fence wire, bend them over into an "L" shape, hold onto the short ends loosely one wire in each hand and when you cross over alot of water either flowing or rising they'll cross over eachother. It sounds crazy but I'm telling you it works. Try it over that water line you put in to your shed.

Grant, with the commodity prices on the up and up if extra ground is available to rent you should jump on it, even if they don't want to sell it rent it, if Spencer is committed to helping you just as soon go all in, it's the same trouble to farm 200 acres as it is 1000 you just have to stay in the field a few more days, with 8 dollar corn and 16 dollar soybeans take advantage while you can, because when it's gonna flip around( and it always does) it's going to be like a run away train , this is my 30th crop I put in the ground belive me when I tell you I've seen many more years of 2.50 to 3.00 corn than I've seen 7 to 8 dollar, same for the soybeans in the late 80s and early 90s we sold many bushels of soybeans at 5 dollars!!

Hey Guys, I noticed that you’re using a couple of Midland handheld FRS or Family Radio Service radios. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how important good, reliable communications is. FRS is good for short (and I mean SHORT) range and you’re limited to the low power handheld units. Might I suggest obtaining your GMRS (General Mobile Radios Service) license which will allow you to purchase and use higher power, longer range mobile radios in your trucks, equipment and even as a base station. With FRS, the max transmit power is .5 watts, GMRS allows for up to 50 watts. One license (now $35 for a ten year period) covers ALL of your immediate family members. You can find new and used handheld and mobile radios at varying prices on eBay. You can also expand your coverage area by adding a repeater but that gets a bit more complicated. I would suggest just starting off with a couple of mobiles (one for your truck and one for Spence’s truck and a couple of handheld units and try them out. See if this will work for you. While I am not a professional radio tech, I am a licensed GMRS user with handheld, mobile, base and several repeaters and would be glad to walk you through everything if you want to reach out. I hope my suggestion results in helping you improve your operation and wish you luck with your future endeavors. Thanks for taking the time to video, video, video then edit, edit and edit and finally uploading and sharing your journey with the rest of us.

Try to put the barrow teeth all the way down. This would cause more pressure on the corn stalks and they may not catch then!

Hey Zach, even having breakers if a lines down, doesn't mean it's not holding a charge still. I respond to a lot of horrific scenes, especially tornados. The worst part, is in the darkness these people are walking around in the dark. The problem? They're carrying children, smaller kids are walking barefoot, some parents do too. Just because there's breakers on most power lines doesn't mean those lines discharge. I've seen peeps walk into water with a charged line, yep, zaps them like a fly or mosquitoes, let me tell ya, the smell doesn't leave your old memory bank either. Just Glad you and most everyone is OK. Material things can be replaced, lives can't, and Becky was right. Once that wall goes through, it should cool enough so you don't have more twisters. I told Chet and Dougo to be very careful with futures and crops this yea, down here we had two to two & a half days, I had to get my new windshield put in, it looked really dark and ugly, like it was going to storm bad, high winds and 3 to 5 1/2"s more of rain dropped that day. The unfortunate part, most crops are in by the end of April down here, unimaginable that they haven't even got the corn, bean, and a few started to get the rice in. They have to level everything in the rice fields, there's a lot of farmers worry about getting all the crops in. When I came home after they installed it, there were lakes in the low spots. Just like you all, they've never seen anything like it. Crazy, crazy, crazy!

I'll stand by and let the professionals do that. I've seen to many horrific scenes when it comes to electricity, and some of those horror scenes were the Professionals. Whenever I get close to the Elevators in a Level 1 Hospital, I can smell it long before I get on Otis. The smells of burns, electrical or regular fire are pardon the pun, singed in my brain. I guess that's why I'm not to fond on satan, it may be the smells.LOL Kinda crazy, looking, watching, and listening to those words come up hither. In the twinkling of an eye we're caught up to meat the lord in the air. I love Theology, and most people don't know this, but the Rapture or the catching away of the bride, mimics the Jewish wedding. Where after the dinner, the bride is wicked away, in Jewish tradition. But where does she go? Would it surprise you to know that she's wisked away to her Fathers House. The Bride the Church is caught up to meet the Lord in the air, and we moved to his house to prepare for the wedding. Amazing 👏 to know.
