First Day of Fall at EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! NEW Food, Coco Show, Muppets, Pickles, Eels & More!

It's the first official day of fall and I'm celebrating by bringing you with me to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival 2024 for my FIRST VISIT OF THE YEAR!! Lots of fun as we try new food and drinks, check out what they've done with Communicore Hall, see Miguel from Coco come out and dance with Mariachi Cobre, meet Daisy dressed as a cute baker, get some free collectible Muppets buttons at the Muppets Brew-Wing Lab, enjoy pickles, eels and more, and lots more fun, beautiful atmosphere and good times at Walt Disney World's most unique park, EPCOT! My adult son (he is 41) & I (I am 68) just did a Mom/Son Disney trip & we loved the cheese steak mac & cheese!! We also loved the beef dish from France, the griddled cheese from Greece, the Zebra dome, & the chocolate pudding cake from American pavilion!! BTW - During our trip he wore his "Expedition Theme Park" shirt that I got him last Christmas

I remember pre covid they had many more options during food and wine like a tea tasting, wine tastings, cooking demos etc and yes I miss those as well. Great video Jackie. Hope to run into you on my upcoming trip

I really hope they have more of the buttons/pins for the Muppets when we go back. We are local APs, so we will be at the festival a few more times before it ends, I'm pretty sure. So far the Communicore Hall is definitely underwhelming, but as other festivals come along, maybe it will look more like the concept art.

I needed this vid today. I've been home for two weeks now and I miss Epcot and the festival. Nothing beats eating around the world trying all the yummies, and an occasional pickle milkshake, which I do also like Lol! I had no idea they gave out buttons either! so cool! Now I really need to go back soon Lol. I'm sad they didn't do anything at Communicore. It has so much potential, especially during the festivals. Guess we'll see what happens in the future.

Calpico is a yogurt drink common in Asia. Most people drink it before hot pot or as a shot of probiotics. They are quite literally the size of shot. It’s also made under number of brands as the good bacteria changes from company to company.

Jackie, we just got back from Disney. We were there the entire week of Labor Day. I had several food samples our day at Epcot. I put $50 on a wristband gift card and used all but $6. The reason is, because somehow the gift card came off the wristband and I lost it. I hope someone found it and used the rest of the money on it. LOL. If you haven't tried it yet, get the chocolate pudding cake at the American Pavilion. It was so good. I also recommend the lamb kabob at the Morocco pavilion.

Awesome to see Miguel. Me being Mexican I love hearing that mirachi sound and they are very talented. We were at Epcot September we had the pickle spears and the pickle shake…I have to say it was good. Thanks for bringing us along

The food looks absolutely gorgeous I love the pasta,, pasta is one of my most favourite 🍝 the cheese🧀 is a great topping to put on pasta it looks really good,, & the fish & chips 🍟🐟with the beer looks really nice also 🍺 it definitely reminds me of Irish flavours a lot , it looks like you really enjoy the food & wine festival it looks like a good festival to be ♥️♥️♥️ I looks like you really enjoyed the Japanese sushi 🍱🍣 I love sushi a lot it’s one of my favourite Japanese Dishes I also really love dumplings 🥟 they are my most favourite with soya sauce simply the best 😌😌

Don’t get me wrong we had a blast in Epcot for this trip. It’s our favorite park 😊 but comparing it to Flower and Garden I have to say the decorations were a little bare! And food/drinks were not super impressive. I look forward to flower and garden 🪴 🍷🍹

honestly, yes. I get that they are different companies and I try not to compare. But Disney is a huge, multibillion dollar company, and a lot of the lovely things from the past still haven't returned (live entertainment, live music, citizen of Hollywood and Main Street USA, characters, etc etc etc), and they're making HUGE money off Lightning lane and all the extras they charge for. They HAVE the money to add more, and stop taking things away.... but Disney is more complicated, with board of directors and shareholders and lots of red tape. I know there are so many creative, talented people at Disney who WANT more for the parks, they just need to be given the budget and go-ahead to bring more magic. At the end of the day, it's still fun, magical and beautiful, but there are many improvements to be made.

I have noticed that Epcot seems very big the park looks quite large but that’s actually a good thing there are many things you can do so many characters you can meet it’s such a wonderful place to be ☺️😁but I also love magic kingdom I feel like magic kingdom is a memorable place to make magical memories 🏰🏰,, would would you prefer magic kingdom or Epcot 🥰🥰🥰💓

Magic Kingdom is the quintessential Disney World park, it's got all the magic, the classic characters, amazing rides and atmosphere. But I also love EPCOT, partly for the nostalgia I admit, but also because it's just such a unique park! The World Showcase is so cool, so unique and something that I don't believe would be built today, so it's very precious. I can't pick between my two loves haha!
