I love this type of content. I am also 24 and been living independently since college days til now that I am working. I learned to cook, eat alone, manage my time, to be organized with almost everything. I learned to not rely on others and not afraid to be alone. You can be your own bestfriend. I move out from my parents house when I was 21 years old, that's a month after college graduation. It won't be easy at first but you will get used to it. Always wanted to have that sense of independence though I somehow did that when I was working in Manila since I am from Southern Leyte. It was really fulfilling though now, back to living with family na ako ulit but if I will be asked by someone if ano yung nagawa ko in life that makes me feel proud of myself is really mabuhay mag isa sa Manila. Sobrang realidad nito, walang keme for the vlog. Kung ano yung talagang sitwasyon sa pag aayos ng bahay, ganun na ganun. 😊 You might want to consider being minimalist and somehow zero-waste. Yung mga bag nung upuan, pwede mo siya gamitin for market/grocery para madali rin siyang ma-disinfect. For the bed, kahit hindi siya mismong bed frame (kasi nga mahal). Yung can find bed-frame pallets na siyang patungan lang ng bed, to still get that aesthethic vibes. I also dream of moving out pero walang budget for that and di pa tapos mag aral (bc k12), my main motivation is to be mindful of my carbon footprints. Ang hirap kasi maging advocate sa mismong bahay na nasanay sa mga disposables, single-use plastics, etc. Hope you'll consider this. Keep safe, Ms. Hazel! More power! ❤️

Recently, lumipat din ako ng apartment and it's also bare. Can relate na una kong binili ay good mattress na semi double, ref, induction cooker at utensils. I only have 1 pan pwede for sabaw at prito. I've been living here since January but up until now dami pa kulang na gamit but I can say it's liveable. Last April ko lang din binili ang aircon. Next in my list is a bedframe sa lapag lang din ang mattress ko with a puzzle matt. Slowly but surely wag natin biglain sarili natin kasi magastos po. One step at a time lang. Also, needs before asthetic. And habang tumatagal ka sa place marami ka talaga manonotice na need mo. Suggest to buy tissues din, cleaning detergents and also lots of lalagyan ng meat and veggies bago ilagay sa freezer iportion na on whatever you will cook. Saves you a lot of time.

I've been living alone away with my family and friends for a really long time now. Natry ko ng tumira kung san san even sa condo alone. What I can suggest is to really prioritize the fridge. Tapos mag shop ka ng meat, veggies, fruit, canned goods, other daily needs. Maganda ung mag stock ka na, kase ang hussle din minsan mag akyat baba kahit sabihin mong may elevator naman.. Saka napaplano mo kase ng ayus ung kakainin at lulutuin mo pag may stock ka na tapos matipid pa! Bilhin mo ung may mahabang shelf life para kahit di mo maluto agad di ka mag woworry na baka masira or masayang lang. Specially you, busy ka so I dont think lagi kang may time to cook for yourself so I advise na you buy food na may longer shelf life.. Easy cook and easy open ideal din temporarily, specially na wala ka pa masyadong gamit jan. Good luck kaya mo yan! You'll get use to being alone and you might even enjoy it unknowingly.

Wiw naalala ko tuloy no'ng nagcollege ako. I leave our home and moved to a 2-hr drive town. I packed a lot of things and di ko rin alam ano'ng dapat mafeel as I slept for the first time alone in an unknown place since first time ko rin malayo sa parents ko.
