Mr. Cale, absolutely enjoy your videos. How old were each of your kids when they got their first ride on a tractor? “Weeks” ?, or maybe “days” old ?

You should have some function on the hydraulic that will raise the equipment automatically when selecting reverse, no clue if that even exists.

Right or wrong I always put the tractor in neutral when unfolding the wings. Let the planter push or pull the tractor as it sees fit to keep pressure off.

I can just imagine you doing this exact thing for Laura. But she really wanted to be daddy's girl. And farm. My dad couldn't get me out of his back pocket.

You need walkie-talkie’s so you can communicate on farm . Also what if you get hurt.

I commend you on showing screw ups. It is seriously good training to own what went wrong and why! Why is the tractor not equipped with a stop or alarm for no backing with planter? I tip for removing mud, use an impact driver without a socket to rattle the junk loose.

did you fold it right ?? do not know, in early 60's I planted with a H formal and a 12 foot wide 6 head planter set at 24 inch, and going a wild 3mph maybe. with a large straw hat on my head for shade.
@johnmorse06027 ай бұрын
Cale it seems you need to totally have your wits about you at all times, so many things could go wrong in a millisecond at any moment - fortunately though you have the experience and confidence to stay on top of it! Ethan, how could you abandon ship at this critical time ? Your poor Dad needs you...Europe will still be there another day? I suppose from your point of view you are only young once and when adventure calls it's a difficult call to ignore.. Good to see young Davy at the helm, he'll be a pro in no time!
