Don't think you need to worry about Janae, that kid is one bright spark! She is learning from all of her siblings and I'm certain accomplishing many more things than most children her age. You know though that each child is an individual who will learn in their own style and at their own rate. I like that admit you know you overplan but you must know that it's much easier to then cut back than if you underplan and then have to start adding in. You obviously have been doing a fantastic job as your children show it.. They are the product of what you have put in, experiences given etcetc. I realised I've been watching your vlogs since Laura was probably Janae's age and I have loved seeing your life as a family. It made my heart jump with joy when I found out my niece who is ten watches your vlogs on KZbin kids. She was stunned I knew you guys from the vlogs. We binge watched vlog after vlog whilst plaiting her hair on a sleepover, then the next morning with her 6year old sister. My heart also leapt with joy when I reminded the girls they need to be responsible and helpful at home. They said a few things they could do and the youngest one said "yeah just like jhouse. They all do chores every day!".... "erm, yes they do", I replied " and are those children unhappy to help?", she answered me and said "nope, they are all happy, and it means their mam doesn't have to do it all and their dad can do his job and then you know what?... They have lots of love and time to play together!" Never underestimate just how much of an impact you are having on people. Especially when a six year old picked that up and interpreted it herself.

As a teacher in a public school, I can tell you that every year is different and you can spend your entire career feeling like you're just starting out! I choose to see that as a sign of excellent practice though, because you're teaching individual minds and those can't be easily catered for by repetitious instruction. Your kids are bright, inquisitive and articulate; I think you're doing a great job!

I absolutely love u guys. You always cheer me up with the stories and positivity. I have had a bad week. My dad is going on an assignment for 48 days to fight fires. I’m only 14 so that is hard for me. Not only that a random person was riding a bike and got hit. I helped him out and stopped the bleeding which was bad. If I wasn’t there. He would have died. I no u prob won’t see this but if u do please thumbs up. It would mean the world to me.

You are amazing. You're family is wonderful. I teach 7th grade math, and many of the children I teach cannot think as critically as your smallest. Their lives just don't prepare them, or give them all the experiences to build from. We can only teach so much at a brick and mortar school building. I wanted with all my heart to raise my children this way, but God had other plans for my life. This year is especially hard with all the government regulations because of corona. It feels even less like learning to me, and even more like...shoveling information to a sea of masked faces. I hope I'm a small light, but it's frustrating this year for sure. I'm so happy for your sweet family. Praying blessings on all of you!

Janae is so sweet and kind along with Laura she is so kind to her siblings and to everyone she meets! Caleb is just so cool and I am glad that he knows how to do things like construction. Elise has such skill with art and baking and she knows exactly what to do in a situation. Isaac..for him I have no words. He has been through all he can and has protected his siblings for so long💖🥰😊

My dad gave me Read Aloud Poems for Young People for ‘Canada Book Week, 1999’ and now I’ve started to read it to my newborn! Also, I think Isaac and Elise will really like The Giver. It is one of my favourite books for sure, as a child and adult.

Im going into what we call intermediate school in my city. its in between middle and elementary so it prepares us for middle. im going into 5th grade so not elementary or middle. but anyways im in advanced ela and math which are the only advanced classes so im smart >:> school starts on the 31st so its my last day of summer. also six kids from my elementary school last year are in my class so its gonna be fun knowing kids ive known for 7 years of my life will be there
