Very cute first day to school. So cute from the parents too. Tears and all. My kids also have messy hair in the mornings so I make them wear a silk headwrap it really helps speed up school mornings!

Aw I remember my first day of jr high (7-8th grades). I was nervous as well. But after a few days it became familiar and wasn’t scary anymore. I loved going back to school. Hope the kids have a wonderful new year! 🫶🏻👌🏻👍🏻

The little pancakes are called 'poffertjes'! A Dutch treat! Traditionally you eat them hot/warm, with butter and powderd sugar. And now I want to make some! 😅

The little things Brielle loved at breakfest are called poffertjes. Thats somting we eat in Belgium for a afternoon snack. Often whit som powded suger, whipt cream and fruit. (Sorry for my spelling. I am from Belgium :)

There is such a transition (physical and emotional) that happens during Middle School. Our MS starts at 6th grade through 8th grade. I remember dropping my "baby" off for the first day of MS and seeing all the older kids who looked SO MATURE!! Ha! By the time my baby was ready to leave MS, she looked so grown up compared to the new 6th graders coming in. It happens. Get ready for big changes over these next few years! :)

My first year of middle school I was so scared but after the first week you are fine and in 8th grade you’ll know a lot of people and already know the school and for high school it’s the exact same as middle school just more fun class choices I’m going into 9th this year

On the Mower Moments vlog JD headed home from the brothers camp the day before school started back Yet Derek left for the brothers camp on the day school started back. It just doesn't add up. What's the real story. Hope the kids had a great first day. Brielle will be fine at middle school. She is bright and highly confident. I grew up in California and LOVE In n Out. In n Out line could be misleading although it is long it usually goes pretty quick. Next time you go try animal style fries sooooo yummy. (This making me miss in n out since I am in Ohio now with no in n out)
