Family relations of mine purchased a Hotel in downtown Santa Cruz. A sibling might be a resident there this 2021. I urged the Spanish tile roofing be retained but learned solar units were going going up to rooftop fixtures. Street level shops will rentals and 2 other floors will have livings areas. The owners have Loft spaces, privacy, with sunny roof extent for patio gardening and a climbing wall for kids. They might put me in the patio for sleeping under the stars if I visit Santa Cruz to do a week of speleological recreation.
