I usually wear highlighter under my blush as the blush kind of absorbs the "glare" of the highlighter. Nobody's going to shout at you just because this palette doesn't tick your boxes, that would be silly! We're all wonderfully different (thank goodness 😉) 💞 Love you, 💗🌟💗🌟💗🌟💗🌟💗

I ended up returning that palette. It was really patchy for me and even after scrubbing off that top layer of blush, I could barely pick up any product and could barely see it on my skin. It was unfortunately a fail for me.

Thanks for the honest review. I havent been blown away by ND color stories on my particular skintone (tan) as she likes putting in light medium shades that almost dissapear into my skintone and then jump over to very dark shades which limits my looks. I like her sparkly formula a lot though. Very dimentional.

I love seeing your first impression! I LOVE this palette and brought it with me when we vacationed in Hawaii. It works perfectly and the matte shadows blended easily. I LOVE a beaming highlight (and I'm a geezer compared to you - 54) so this was perfect for me. The blush was awesome as well. Maybe it's the Milk eye primer. I think the MILK hydro grip eye primer is really good! It's the only primer that doesn't crease my eyeshadow. I've got VERY oily lids and absolutely nothing has worked as well as this primer.

Yes I think the hydro grip primer is so tacky and these powders are really finly milled so they really do not move once they are placed on it.

Love your hair Lisa looks so pretty and the length suits you. I have the Natasha Denona Glam Face palette in Light and I love it. The shadows blend beautifullly and I’m 60 so obviously I would be more critical of blendability of eyeshadows. The shimmer shades are different the one you used is more sheer as you said but the other one is more opaque and shimmery. I thought your eyes looked lovely so soft and pretty and the eyelash extensions look gorgeous very glamorous. The highlighter is a bit on the bright side but I usually run it over the back of my hand after swiping before applying it and then buff it with a bit of powder to a soft glow.🥰💜

I had no intentions of purchasing this palette simply because the price is the same as her other eyeshadow palettes and you get a lot more eyeshadows in those… to me blushes you can use anything and get the same look but you look beautiful as always!!🥰

I have the palette and it is good when you need everything on hand. I think with the shadows you may want to try a a different primer. Love the blush. I would love to see you do a ranking of full face pallette as that seems to be the new trend. I also love your honesty that it did not hit the mark for you at this moment.

I loved this palette, I used it today and even strangers commented on how gorgeous my makeup looked. I would try to use another primer on your lids, I’ve heard a few reviews of the new milk primer causing eyeshadows to appear patchy.

IDK why people are saying that about the MILK eyeshadow primer. I just recently bought it, and love it!! It's the only primer that doesn't crease my eyeshadow, and I've got VERY oily lids, and I'm 49 yrs old. And my shadows are super easy to blend with it too. For me, Nothing has worked as well as this primer.

This is how I felt with that Charlotte tilbury face palette that was double the price ! I do like this one but again wish I got the darker one .. I don’t feel I need it alone I just add on from other palettes but only for my darker looks! Thanks for this review!

The look came out beautifully, but since it's so basic, I can get that with my more affordable makeup I already have. I think the reason the crease shades may have been patchy is because cooler toned shadows are more difficult to blend, imo. So that may be it.

I felt the same way about this palette. I was so pumped up to get it and so disappointed when I tried it. I thought it was way too glittery and sloppy and that the shades were not different enough from one another. I have so many Natasha Denona palettes I truly adore but I returned this one.

I have this palette and really like it overall, but the highlighter is definitely too shiny for me - feels a little like I’ve applied actually aluminum foil to my face in its reflectiveness! 🤣 But I prefer a more subdued glow versus a true “beaming to the moon” highlight, so I think it’s really just about preference. 💓

Hi Lisa. Love your new hair length. I bought this palette when it first came out. This is my first ND product and also my first cream blush I’ve ever owned. I used the palette once and just knew it wasn’t for me. The cream blush was really dry and so we’re the shimmer shades. The eyeshadows flaked almost immediately. I wear glasses and I had glitter on the inside of my glasses all day. I was really disappointed and ended up returning the palette.

The light version of this palette (I'm a blue eye, fair skinned, blonde) is my FAVORITE Natasha Deanna product. When I travel, this is the palette I throw in my bag. No need to grab multiple products, it is all there in one place.

I am not a fan of most of the ND palettes (don't hate me- just doesn't work well with my skin/eyes, etc); however, while this is not my favorite look on you, it is not bad. But do any of us want to wear make up that is "not bad" "not horrible" or just "ok?" There are so many options in makeup out there, and it is fun to try new products. Hi Lisa! Try playing with it a little more before you totally write it off. I feel like all of Natasha Denona‘s palettes are spoken negatively about at first, and then everyone ends up loving them after all. This is my favorite palette of the year. So much so that I ended up going and buying the dark one as well! I love them both so much.

I love this palette so much and used it for a recent trip!!! So nice to have a palette that has everything except a bronzer and a more natural highlighter. I only used the highlighter in my inner corner as it's too high shine for my cheek bone. I do think that applying two blushes was too much. I would have saved the blush in the palette for another day. As for the shadows, I think they are definitely up to her high standards. The problem seemed to be the primer. If an eyeshadow primer is too tacky, it will be very hard to blend any shadow and will be patchy. I use the Hourglass eyeshadow primer or the Mac Paintpot in Painterly.

It’s looked really beautiful online and I heard other KZbinrs rave about it so I ordered it with a gift certificate and was really excited about it…but when I received it from Sephora it looked so different in person. I didn’t even try it on or swatch it -just returned to the store an hour after receiving it. So this video is affirming of my instincts. A fair amount of shimmer and shine work better in a dry place like California, where I live. I always need dewy, not matte and I think that is because of the heat and dryness all year long. Very pretty on you, though.

I love mine. I would never use the milk hydrogrip primer with it though. I use the rare beauty eyeshadow primer with all my natasha shadow's because the powder finish of the primer makes them blend soooooo smooth I love it. The main range I love this palette though is because I'm a total glitter monster I just can't get enough sparkle sparkle

The eye look you did once before with the Sidney Grace singles when you thought you were stung by a scorpion I still remember it and I loved it. I loved the shadows you used in that demo. I immediately ordered them all. And I love them. Reason why I'm say this is because I have the ND Glam palette and I'm not impressed with it it looks so beautiful on everyone else but I'm not impressed with how the tones look on my eyes. I have the light one and I love it. I enjoy all types of highlight so I enjoyed this beaming one! The blush is subtle but I'm not a blush person so it works for me. The eyeshadows were the standouts to me. I had no problems with the mattes and the shimmers are so sparkly, I love it. But I have no advice on making it work though 😕. I'm 33 with combo skin. I don't use a face primer usually and always use an eye primer. I'm using the one from thrive now.... no complaints but also not magical lol

I think you look very pretty though very subdued. I love a gleaming highlight. I didn't notice that you used the outer light/bright/shiny shade and I'm curious where that one is intended to go. I like the pallette...I just don't want to spend that much cash on a palette. The same reason I did not get the Glam Palette with all eye shadows.

It seems like the tones of the various eye shadows just don't blend very well together--some are warmer, some are cooler, and especially the tone of the Inner Corner shade doesn't seems to go very well with the matte shades. It could be a skin tone issue too, but ideally they would have formulated the shadows so no matter the skin tone, the colors would blend together beautifully. Altogether it's a beautiful look (especially from farther away)--and I love the blush!--but I think that's more related to your application and natural beauty--the palette isn't nearly as flattering as others. Thanks for the video though, it's good to see the failures as well as the successes (we all buy makeup that doesn't end up working for us, and it's good to see that it happens to everyone, even makeup experts!) PS: LOVE the new hair length/style--very flattering! Is that a lob?

The look is beautiful on you. I for one, have problems with ND eyeshadows. They wind up irritating my eyes. Her lipglosses are nice, but when it comes to eyeshadows, I'll stick with yours, Mel's, and CT. I'm not a very glowy/sparkling highlighter. Maybe for a special evening event, but definitely not for daytime, in my opinion. Ah, my favorite lipstick color! Thanks for testing out the products. I think when you use a primer the colors and formula can be totally different- I usually don’t use a primer just for this reason.

Lisa I wanted to mention I had seen a flyer somewhere where ther was sorta like a recall on some of these palettes . I don’t remember if it was both or 1 of the variety but it stated there has been a lot of people reporting issues with the blushes being pressed to hard and having difficulty applying. You mentioned how it was hard for you to feel the creamy blush I wonder if you have one of tje defective palettes?
