First dog in history to be ‘cancelled’: Rescue pup faces Pride Month

Author Jonathan Miller explains the story of how his rescue puppy Bella became the first dog in history to be “cancelled” as companies mark Pride Month in June.
Mr Miller said he received an email from GPS-tracker company Tractive suggesting he buy a rainbow flag cover for his furry friend’s device cover.
“I rather grumpily wrote to Tractive in Austria and I said, why don’t you just concentrate on tracking dogs and cease the virtue signalling,” he told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“I got a reply that said, thank you for your email - we’ve cancelled your subscription to Tractive so you can no longer track your dog.”
Mr Miller added however, “all’s well that ends well” as the company’s CEO sent an email humbly apologising for the cancellation following media backlash.

Ok but lets be real- I know several friends who were physically made homeless by their parents who professed very similar views to the man in the clip. They on the surface appeared very polite and "loving", but their actions showed differently. When your entire life has consisted of attacks upon who you feel you are, is it abnormal to be antagonistic? I would argue it is far more abnormal to be truly loving and accepting. In fact, very few people I have met truly would do for people outside of their perceived communities something that they want to see from those communities- I have even given people those chances to do so and they did not. To be clear I speak not just of LGBTQ people, but all people. As a people we are tribal, and it is the source of countless problems. But if we react with ridicule, such as what you exhibit here, to the pained reaction of deeply hurt individuals, then we can hardly expect those individuals to act with kindness. Before asking others for compassion, especially those who have been deeply hurt by society, I would council you to offer that compassion and unconditional acceptance yourself, even in the face of actions like this- making a pet unsafe is unacceptable, but it does not make the movement or the person bad. Likewise, just because a movement espouses love and acceptance doesnt mean their members will all practice that, but the failure of those members also doesn't necessarily make the group as a whole fail. The christian church is an excellent example- the vast majority of our members regularly fail at showing compassion, forgiveness, and love, but that doesn't change the fact that those are our central tenants. I am not a member of the lgbtq community, but I am a christian who wants to see less judgement and more compassion, which I encourage you to give. I dont know you and cannot judge you, but I can seek to provide the perspective of those who may be hurt by your words.

@@Asrael-xy7uk My understanding is a lot of it comes down to opposing an institution that has regularly targeted them, made life intolerable, forced them into conditions in which are a major cause of suicide, actually physically assaulted them in some cases, and all around acted in a prideful and unchristian manner: namely the church. Embracing who they are and taking pride in it is a fairly understandable reaction for people who are at the end of their rope after being hated by so many people everywhere for simply the way they were born. "Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister." A verse from the bible revealed to me by God after a very concerned prayer about the treatment of the lgbtq community and others who were being mistreated and pushed out of the the church by members of said church for "not following Christian values". The church has failed at this task, and it is our fault if these people are raging against the church for our actions.

The government has muzzled most "churches' by threatening to take away their 501c3 status, thereby rendering them powerless and ineffective against something that clearly mocks God and goes against Biblical principals. We are not even permitted to exercise our freedom of speech, our freedom to disagree with the LGBTQ agenda. I challenge that it is not the LGB community that is being threatened, it's those who do not choose to condone their lifestyle, namely truly Christian people who don't hate anything but sin.
