FIRST DRIVE: 1970s Porsche 911 Budget Build

I just spent hours watching nearly all the episodes in this Porsche series at 2x speed, as well as the episodes on the blue SST boat (very very very curious the status of that which you didn’t go into detail in your projects/vehicles overview video a bit ago, just mentioning there are some serious issues keeping it on backburner). All in all, friggin awesome. And Sarah is a champ. What I don’t understand (in a good way) is how you have the patience (if that’s the right word) to juggle multiple personal passion projects, especially if it means putting aside one as amazing as the 911 build for months (or years) at a time. All in all, very cool. Keep on keeping on!

I was rewatching this to see if there was some hint about the axle. Unfortunately no underside video. So it continues to be a mystery. Did you put in wires when you put the axle screws back in?

I did not do wires. Maybe I should have. I did reuse the bolts... which.. I think was technically not kosher. :\

@@ADDvanced while reusing the bolts isn't recommended losing 8 bolts And a cotter pin without knowing is really unlikely. It's more likely it got taken than fell off. For our cars wires aren't usually necessary. Have you found a replacement?

You're right about taking photos when disassembling. Photos are free. Looks like the snow is all gone. Avenger season coming up?
