First drive: 2025 Audi e tron GT prototype

The Audi e-tron GT is getting updated later this year and we've gotten behind the wheel of an early prototype to see how it compares to the outgoing model. Among the changes is the introduction of a new adaptive suspension system that can lift the car when you open the doors.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, same base system (though we drove this months before Porsche unveiled its take on it...). No word on whether it will be standard or optional on the RS e-tron GT though - that has yet to be announced. ^ Shane

@@CompletecarIe i have the RS E-Tron GT with all options. This will be standard in the highest option trim of the Performance. That's the beauty of Audi vs Porsche. You get murdered on options and it's the same car as the Taycan

any improvements on the battery? has it gotten more kWh?

Hi David. Audi wouldn't be drawn on any details regarding the battery etc. This drive took place months before Porsche revealed the updated Taycan with its extended range so we were not in a position to ask about that. It's extremely likely the e-tron GT will get the same battery improvements. ^ Shane
