I just watched this video on 25.01.2021 being sure the date you put it on YT was 14.01.2021 and not 2020, as it actually was. Because I realized it is already one year old - why did you wear the face mask then? Noone knew about the corona yet....how wonderful time of freedom it used to be... was it because of the mould you mention a the beginning of the video?

I had a 1990 750iL and changed plugs, plug wires, intake gaskets, rotors, rotor (distributor) caps, filters, suspension, O2 sensors, drive shaft (twice), fuel pumps, alternator, starter, radiator, fan clutch, steering box adjustment ... you name it! Had it to the point where I actually balanced a Euro on the engine cover while running. Mad props for tackling this, it's a heckuva job! :)

I did this with a 2001 E38 740i. It was a real love/hate relationship. I can say the engineering on it was the perfect. Everything was logically attached and replacement was simple. I replaced the entire cooling system two weeks after back surgery, that is how easy it was. The 850i is a dream car for me as well as many others. You have done a fantastic job and I am envious.

I sold my 850i last year for £5000 to a garage due to money issues she was about doggy around the edges and needed some problems sorted but i loved that car, best car i ever owned. the good news i checked on the mot recently to see if it had been renewed hoping the car hadn't been scrapped and it hasn't, everything is fixed and a fresh MOT issued, thank you whoever you are for keeping my car on the road, i will check again in 12 months to see if it still on the road. fond memories

The first 850 I ever saw was in Luxembourg in 1991, it was a stunning Marion one. I was hooked, in a few years I’m planning a mid life crisis and getting one. Only if my wife agrees!!!

OMG Your knowledge of BMW's is so good that watching you replace and repairs the car like a neuro surgeon works on they patients. I wishes I just acquired about 1/10 of your knowledge I can confidently go to the repair shop and not get slaughter by the auto dealers repairs shop. At the moment I am at they merciful. Even I don't know much about auto mechanic but I can tell you once thing all of us really enjoyed your shows and greatly appreciated every minute of it. I keep tap on youtube commercial so I can end it quickly so I can go back to continue watching your works. Wow I never did that to any of youtube blog.

I can remember the first time I saw an 850i.It was at night parked under bright street light ,that was the best looking car I had ever seen, dark green too , I spend 15 minutes oogling every angle my friend thought I had gone creazy.

The 850 is such a beautifull car. When i was a little boy, there was an 840 driving around in my hometown, in black, it sounded and looked amazing. I would really love to have one today, but with an automatic gearbox, just because im lazy, and it's a real GT car.

Well, to be fair the green one was first imported from somewhere in Europe. Those plates weren't the original ones, since they were from June 2005. The black one does have its original plates from 1992.

That's true. Which makes the black one even more desirable from a Spanish point of view being a national unit with manual gearbox and sport seats, both rare options. In the early 90s many luxury German cars were imported to Spain from Deutschland, so it is fair play for the Germans to take them back home now. :)
