Now you can be a real American! I got a black 77 with red velvet interior at age 19 in 1980. Teen girls who road in it still remember, to this day, what the hood looked like from within the car. I just bought a c6 Corvette convertible and love the wheel swells from the drivers seat. Reminds me of my old Camaro on steroids.

Last american car I drove over here in the UK, was a 78Lincoln . 18ft long. Scary as hell , but fun.

But enjoy the Camaro. It's a car I've always had a soft spot for. Used to see quite a few of them as a kid in the 80's . I came close to buy a 78 recently but it was a bit of a basket .

I’ve got one of these. I put a 358 in it with a Procharger P600b supercharger in ‘94 abd nearly weekend it. You need to get protouting steering brakes and suspension before it’ll drive anything like a modern Eurocar. Do it soon or you won’t fully enjoy it. In 2006 after suspension and brake mods I upgraded to a Procharger F1C 1200hp. Then later twin F1C Prochargers and a Scott Sharioff 406 Dart SBC. It’s a beast. 🏁🏁🏁

@@MotorAlli I wish you could be here in Southern California to drive that awesome car. If you’re the type drawn to that vehicle, you would really appreciate the car culture here. My recent trip to Ireland and Scotland had me wanting to come back for more, but also made it clear to me that if I moved there I would have to give up my beloved car culture. Didn’t see one full size pickup truck the whole time

@@toddsickinger3934 Honestly, I have a neighbour with a v6 2015 camaro and a dodge ram runner and the pickup is absolutely HUGE like the size of our vans its mad - I wish the UK had the car culture of America but alas due to road, it's tailored more to hatchbacks like the golf r and audi s3 or my honda for example
