Today we drive our 1995 Ferrari F355 for the first time! This is the first startup in many years, will it startup? We got this car for dirt cheap, less than the price of a new honda accord. This car is already straight piped and has an insane F1 sound coming from the F355 challenge race engine. This car is also equipped with the rare 6 speed gated manual transmission. This has been such a fun rebuild, this car went frm abandoned in the woods to driver Ferrari!

Love the older gated manuals. Both of these cars will be awesome drivers cars. Far more interesting on the road than the current flock of insane powered DCT cars. You can work your way up the gears without going to jail while listening to that Ferrari note.

My favourite car of all time. This and the Porsche 993 turbo. The 90’s were the best for cars. Give me any new car and I’ll sell it. One exception the 2007 Audi rs4. This all coming from a certified Audi technician of over 10 years

So the car was $25K. I wonder how much the engine and installation was? a new race engine must be min $15-20K? And it needed a new clutch, dash replacement., I would be curious what the breakdown and final bill was?

I pretty sure you can't get a new F355 engine, why would Ferrari be making it? If I recall correctly they said they paid low 10s for that engine, but I assume with the labour, with the clutch, etc probably did go in the 20s. Still even 50k for a manual 355 with such low mileage is an absolute steal.

First, it’s a 355. One of the most beautiful Ferrari’s IMO. Two, it’s a gated shifter which is freaking awesome. Three, it’s about 5 minutes away from catching on fire and burning to the ground, so I’d sell it ASAP.
