for extra sleeper points, you need to get a really massive muffler to make it sound stock, but with a valve right before that so you can switch it to open headers when some hot-boi in a camo wrapped stanced wrx tries challenges you at a stop light.

It is amazing to see the progress you have make over over the years. To think at one time you got glued wire connections how you make awesome custom hand made brake lines and even trying to build custom tools that 'work' ... 'ish. Who know you might have a custom shop building stuff like this for a living and over people with Pasha, John and all you friends pumping out car after car

9:20 The problem is that you need to have the line coming from the bleeder down in the fluid. That way when air gets sucked out it becomes vapor locked and can't back flow into the brake system. As it is, you're sucking stuff out and air rushes back in to fill the void because it is less viscous than brake fluid.

Have you considered adding a pressure transducer for fuel pressure to replace that physical gauge? Having fuel pressure incorporated into the harness/ computer (and therefore data logs) would be helpful for future tuning and/ or troubleshooting 👍

Have you ever heard of a Bleeder pipe that has a liquid gas valve at the end that allows liquid out but wont allow air back in? Cost about £3-4.00
@oxcartracing
@oxcartracing 3 жыл бұрын
your brake bleeder the inlet from the bleeder valve needs to be submerged in the brake fluid and the other one needs to be in the air that would make it vacuum because with the long tube in the fluid when you stop the vacuum it doesn't recirculate the air back into the system cuz it's pressurized

the volvo breakes are kinda special. one line per pair of pistons and each bear is connected to one rear wheel. this is so that if ONE breakline no matter which break you always have some braking of 3 out of 4 wheels. in most cars and never volvos (they left this system when they introduced float single piston calipers) there is one curcit in the back and one in the front, and therefore if one line breaks you have breaking you lose breaking on one axle.

I'm still always Blow away that everyone bleeds brakes from the master cylinder to the Callipers, At rallies and track we push the fluid through with a giant Syringe. push till you see the level rise in the Res and close the nut, no chance for air to get in and WAY WAY faster without the faf of Up!.. up.. Down.. Down.
