Catch Cans are some of the best 1st mods for any car. Even if you don't race your car and just drive around in your daily, its still a great mod to do as it will save you a ton in the back end. Real life savers for your engine from ingesting debris it doesn't need to. Great pick btw Zander, I've used them before, very easy, plug and play in most cases.

The UPR catch can is by far the better product for this car. Instead of "hanging" off the engine, its bolted to the body up near the radiator. The lines are way thicker and the overall appearance could pass as a factory install.

Hey battle, I have a wrenching question lol I have a 2019 procharged Gt, I recently took the cats off and I got a check engine light. I took it to my buddy garage to have it read and it showed it was running rich. We cleared the code and its running fine, but couple days ago I opened it up a little and ran it up to 130 mph and the check engine light came back on, the car still runs great. Do you think this is something I should be worried about? Thanks man lol hope you go procharged 🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️
@sliknik10252 жыл бұрын
Removing the cats from any car will always trigger the check engine light (CEL), sooner or later, if it has the sensors after the cats. That won’t cause any harm to the car (you’ll be smelling the toxic fumes though), but if there’s an issue with the car that will trigger the CEL, you won’t know about it since your light is already on. The best way to take care of this is to get a tune that won’t trigger the CEL because of no cats, but that might void the warranty.
@Zander13Productions2 жыл бұрын
Definitely data log it for the tuner and make sure they adjust for cat removal

Well u see with these 3rd gen coyotes, that everyone seems to forget abt or that they just don’t know abt is that ford already figured this problem out , see this motor has 8 regular fuel injectors that spray gas into the intake manifold and which cleans the intake valves of carbon build and then deep inside the engine it has 8 more GDI injectors that spray on the Piston for the most power and of corse this is all computer controlled for the most power and wot pulls GDI injectors spray when cruising, the regular fuel injectors spray through the manifold to clean the injector valves so technically not 100% needed mod for a catch can on these motors but still won’t hurt doing it just kinda of waste of money but then again not really
