Some of these guys are too young to have encountered the skinheads. My moms moved to Lancaster in '95, and literally on day one, my 14 year old self walked to the 7-Eleven on Challenger & J and got pressed by some 18/19 year old skinheads. They were definitely outside trippin' in the 90's.

Keep in mind, Lancaster & Palmdale's population in the mid-90's was each about 40K. Now they're each about 170K, and there's way more black people there now than back then. Back then, they had the numbers and they were definitely try'na take advantage. By the 2000's, the black population increased drastically, and the skinheads faded out with that increase.
