During a special one-night Scotland food and drink event to kick off the 2013 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, Merida and her mom Queen Elinor met with guests, signed autographs, danced, and partied through the night. This was only the second ever appearance by Queen Elinor at a Disney theme park.

Kinda wish Disney would show off it's mom characters a little more too. Queen Elinor and Mrs. Incredible are fantastic characters. Something for the mature female Disney fan who isn't quite wicked enough to fancy herself a villainess and not quite inexperienced enough to be a princess. Also, that Scottish dancer was on point! I'm Scottish but those accents aren't bad but the mother sounds more English then Scottish, but it's a hard accent to do
