Strong work Ken, thank goodness you had the spare gear. That’s how my life goes. If I bring it I won’t need it and if I forget it…. Straight into metal first cut lol

Hi Ken, Merry Christmas to you and your family. So Ken you mentioned you got ripping chain, or didn’t I hear that right. You used the rip chain to cut cross cuts and it worked great. I have never used ripping chain and didn’t think you could use it for crosscuts. So when you order Hipa chain do you get it from Amazon or directly from Hipa? I am just trying to understand your comments. Thanks Al

Good review. I'll have to keep those chains in mind but gramp is set in his ways 😂 It will probably stay Oregon for him but I can try what I want 👍🏻

I also got a sample chain HIPA because of Brad "Firewood at the Furnace" and have worked it fairly hard. It works like a charm. Stay safe.

Glad you took extra with you Ken, can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to run back home because of a problem (I caused) sawing. Ha now my small box never leaves the truck..chain, wrenches, wedges, files.etc. 👍👊

Yup! 👍 It's always better to be prepared! I was too far from home to not have extra chains, etc….
