​Every successful game franchise has multiple games spanning multiple decades. It is impossible for a single game to remain relevant gameplay-wise or technology-wise without dying off. Smite 2 is necessary for the continued success of smite as a franchise, and if it is successful, we could eventually smite 3, 4, etc. over multiple decades. But yeah you're right, we should wait for smite 1 to die off and for hirez to go bankrupt before they even think about launching a second game. Content creators should also be content to let their source of incoming dry out gradually over the next few years, and they should be ashamed for being excited about the game they love and have built a community on being given new life in a sequel.​@@Americanserialnumber1992

The placeholder icon is hastened katana its actually a different item altogether. Atalantas bow is the closest thing to hastened currently

Not sure if it is a bug, but I purchased the Ultimate Founders Edition and I have linked my accounts, but I can not play as the T5 skin in smite 2. Anyone else had an issue similar? Edit: I launched Smite and got the pop up for unlock on the original game. Then when I went back to Smite 2, I had it unlocked. In case anyone else has this issue, this was a resolve I found.

Not a fan of zeus 2 change. Dont think stun is worth the missing combos, range, waveclear of shield. Ult also does less damage and isn't instant. Seems like a worse kit imo.

I love smite and i played hundreds of hours, therefore i will have fun with Smite 2. However I hoped for bigger changes, from a graphical standpoint and gameplay. I don't want to complain but this is rather a big patch for S1 than a completely new game for me.

i know imma be complaining to a brick wall but fuck i wish they’d help out us nz players for once. i have never not played smite without insane hit detection and constant lagging. the alpha is the same but there’s only 2 servers so far. i swear if i had the connection y’all had id stomp. i have to predict my basic attack hits like a second and a half ahead of time. i auto and it takes nearly 2 seconds for it to come out. it’s so bs. especially tryna box in solo lane is nearly impossible with the hit detection.

Predecessor is much better, no doubt you can't even compare it to the original Paragon, though this is way behind, in predecessor you just cant even clear minion lane alone, fire giant in smite still sucks, one powerful carry can clear fire giant, while in predecessor you literally need full team to kill Orb prime. And after getting orb prime u just can't die easily like smite...that's the system difference. Smite should really look forward in this matter.. graphic isn't even 10% near predecessor

To be honest, it looks kinda bad. Specially all the logos, menus, and SPECIALLY the cards on the loading screen. Old ones looked so much better. It might be better with time beacuse unreal 5, but right now is not an improvement imo
